WATCH Did the right couple win?? The Love Island reunion you’ve been waiting for! ☕️👀
Luke’s hair transformation comes just as Love Island bosses announce that the summer 2020 series has been cancelled.
Rumours about the show’s fate have been swirling for weeks, with reports even suggesting the show could be filmed in the UK, but it’s now been confirmed it won’t air at all as it's “not logistically possible” to film safely thanks to COVID-19.
Confirming the news to The Sun, Kevin Lygo, Director of Television at ITV explained, "We have tried every which way to make Love Island this summer but logistically it's just not possible to produce it in a way that safeguards the wellbeing of everyone involved and that for us is the priority.
"In normal circumstances we would be preparing very soon to travel out to the location in Mallorca to get the villa ready but clearly that’s now out of the question."
