If you’ve been watching Love Island since the very start then you’ll probably remember Love Island 2016 bombshell Malia Arkian, who was kicked out of the villa just minutes after she walked through the front door following a confrontation with Kady McDermott.

It’s still one of the show’s most explosive moments to date.

Well, fast forward nine years and Malia’s life is very different as she’s now a mother to three children and she’s getting married to her footballer boyfriend next year.

Malia will be tying the knot with Hope Akpan, who plays for Atherton Laburnum Rovers, in June.

The news was revealed after the former Islander shared pictures and videos from her hen do.

Alongside a snap of her and her bridesmaids, Malia wrote, ‘The best day #bridesmaidsquad.’

Malia and Hope first revealed they were engaged in October 2019 when she was pregnant with their now five-year-old daughter, Halo

Last year, they became parents for the second time when Malia gave birth to twins Heaven and Harmony.

Malia made her infamous Love Island appearance back in 2016 when she entered the villa as a bombshell and quickly got into a disagreement with fellow Islander Kady.

She made it clear she’d set her sights on Kady’s man Scott Thomas and things kicked off when Malia accused Kady of spilling a glass of wine on her on purpose. The pair exchanged a war of words before Malia seemingly lunged at Kady.

Malia was then swiftly removed from the villa by show bosses.
