We’ve been obsessed with Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury ever since they met on Love Island so you can imagine our distress when they announced they've split after five years together.
Molly, who met Tommy on series five of Love Island, announced the news in a statement writing, "Never in a million years did I think I'd ever have to write this. After five years of being together I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way.
"I am extremely upset to announce that mine and Tommy's relationship has come to an end. I will forever be grateful for the most important thing to me now and always, my beautiful daughter. Without us there would be no her, she will always be my priority."
She went on, "I want to thank you all for the love you have shown us over the last five years. You have all been a part of our journey and I feel it's right to share this with you all.
"Whilst I attempt to navigate the coming days and weeks please kindly respect my privacy over this difficult time, I'll be back when it feels right. Molly-Mae x."
Tommy posted a similar statement a few moments later and said, "I am heartbroken to share that Molly and I have decided to end our relationship.
"The past 5 years have led to us having our beautiful baby girl Bambi and I be will forever thankful to Molly for making me a dad. Bambi is our priority."
Neither of them have revealed the reason behind their split, but there was speculation that there was trouble in paradise earlier this year.
Despite being together for half a decade, having Bambi and getting engaged in Ibiza last year, when it was Tommy's birthday Molly didn’t post anything on socials and she usually goes BIG on the birthday post. In the past she’s even dedicated YouTube videos to celebrate Tommy’s birthday.
The next thing that left everyone confused was after Tommy announced his new job, Molly didn’t like the post, comment, or even publicly acknowledge it.
And to top it all off, Molly and Tommy both flew to Dubai and posted things on their Instagram Stories but they didn’t post anything together.
Lots of fans speculated about their relationship with one person writing, “Something is up with him and Molly…”
Another said, “Does it matter if he not with Molly she is home with they little one he's out supporting his brother doesn't mean they have broken up.”
Another commented, “People panicking cos this is the first year Molly hasn’t wished Tommy happy birthday on here, nor is she wearing her ring people have a right to their own opinions.”
A fourth questioned, “Where is her ring?.”
And although they went to Disneyland Paris shortly before Tommy's birthday, a few months earlier Tommy had been spotted partying with Chris Brown (so random) and a mystery woman.
Amid all the speculation, Molly said on YouTube, “I really don’t care what is said about me, Tommy, my relationship.
"It sounds cliche but you do really grow massively thick skin, like an elephant. I’m immune to it. I read things online and it doesn’t even resonate with me, I feel like I’m reading about someone else’s life because half the time half the stuff isn’t true anyway.”
She added, “Having a relationship that’s in the public eye, you deal with things that people in private relationships deal with but because everyone is commenting about it and everyone sees it - and all eyes… It’s like a fish bowl and everyone is watching it - it’s just quite tricky.
“Things aren’t always going to be perfect and things aren’t always going to be sunshine and roses but when they aren’t, you have millions of people giving their opinions on it and talking about it.”
