It’s been over a week since Love Island’s Nicole Samuel and Ciaran Davies split and, frankly, we’re only just recovering from the shock.
The Welsh pair finished in second place on Love Island 2024 and moved in together shortly after returning to the outside world, so we never expected them to split any time soon.
Although a representative for the Islanders insisted they would ‘remain good friends’ following their ‘mutual’ and ‘amicable’ breakup, it appears that things could be getting messy after eagle-eyed fans spotted some suspicious social media activity from one of Ciaran’s villa besties.
Sam Taylor was only in the villa for two days before being unceremoniously dumped when Joey Essex chose to couple up with Samantha Kenny, but he struck up a firm friendship with Ciaran during his time on the show that has continued in the outside world – and it seems Sam has been supporting his pal through the breakup.
Sam has unfollowed Nicole on Instagram and she’s returned the favour, suggesting that he’s very much Team Ciaran.
That’s not all though as Sam recently reposted a fan made TikTok video which branded Nicole ‘petty’ in the wake of her split from Ciaran.
Neither Nicole nor Ciaran have spoken out about the reasons for their split, but it has been rumoured that they could be reuniting on another dating show – and no, we’re not talking about All Stars.
The former couple are reportedly BOTH in talks to take part in the next series of Celebs Go Dating, meaning they could be in for an awkward reunion.
‘It's early stages in the planning for the next Celebs Go Dating series, but Ciaran is exactly the type of male celebrity bosses are looking for,’ a source told The Sun.
Another TV insider told the same publication, ‘Nicole was asked to come in for talks with bosses almost immediately after the split with Ciaran - she was a real character on the ITV show so E4 bosses are eager for her to sign up.’
