Remember those early Love Island series?

You know before it was guaranteed that they’ll get Instagram followers, brand deals and we’d never be able to escape them – even if we tried?

Well, one of those OG Islanders we often think about is series four’s Samira Mighty.

She was simply adorable – she was besties with Dani Dyer, unproblematic AND she even quit the villa for Frankie Foster (although he apparently cheated days after he was dumped from the show).

Anyway, it turns out that Samira has only got herself a new job – she’ll be doing panto this winter.

After one of her followers asked about upcoming shows, Samira announced her new gig on Instagram.

‘[I’ll be] playing this iconic queen (Princess Jasmine) in Aladdin in Cheltnham hee hee.

‘Princess Jazzy,’ she added.

We need to get tickets ASAP because if there’s one thing you need to know about Samira – it’s that she can sing.

Even before she went on Love Island 2018, she was in Dreamgirls on the West End and that's how she got scouted for the show.

Since leaving the villa she starred on Celebrity X Factor - alongside Zara McDermott, Eyal Booker and Wes Nelson – and has even launched her own music career.

And in a complete 360, Samira’s first single played on Love Island back in 2022. Posting a video of the scene she said on Instagram, ‘OMG guys Love Island played my very first single ‘I love your smile’ 🥹😭best feeling in the world! Overwhelmed isn’t the word! Thank u Love Island beyond grateful for everything 😭💘🥹.’

Not only that but Samira will be starring in a horror film too. Talk about a triple threat.
