One of the standout stars on last summer’s Love Island was bombshell Uma Jammeh, who entered the villa on day three and quickly won over both the boys in the villa and fans watching at home.

However, Uma’s time on the ITV2 show was sadly cut short on day 37 when she chose to walk out the door after her man Wil Anderson was dumped from the villa after a brutal recoupling.

That was back in July 2024 and we haven’t really seen much of Uma on our screens since then, but it sounds like that’s all about to change as her next TV move since leaving the villa has seemingly been revealed.

According to reports, TV bosses are desperate to snap up Uma and have lined her up to appear on the next series of Celebrity Masterchef.

‘Uma is a great get for the show, as not only is she stunning, she’s also funny and will appeal to younger viewers,’ a source told The Sun.

They added, ‘It’s also the perfect next step for her career as it introduces her to a whole new audience who may not be familiar with her from Love Island.’

During her time on Love Island, Uma coupled up with Geordie fella Wil, but their relationship hit a rocky patch during Casa Amor (classic) when he got to know bombshell Lucy Graybill.

Wil chose not to bring Lucy back to the main villa, but his Casa antics were exposed when she spilled the beans around the fire pit.

Uma then got to know Reuben Collins, but she ultimately decided that her heart belonged with Wil and she quit the villa in emotional scenes when he was sent packing.

The pair are still going strong; in fact, they’re the only remaining Love Island 2024 couple after winners Mimii Tafara and Josh Oyinsan and runners-up Nicole Samuel and Ciaran Davies called it quits.
