When a Made in Chelsea star opens up about their experience on the TV show it always feels like you're hearing the juiciest gossip of all time.
What do you mean the nightclubs scenes are filmed in the afternoon? Who else knew the dinner parties lasted EVEN longer and some fights are planned prior to the squabble we see on screen?
We have all been BETRAYED.
The latest MIC gal to spill the tea is Ashley James. The former Kings Road resident recently chatted about her stint on the streets of SW3 and she had a A LOT to say.
Ashley was part of the poshest reality show over a decade ago where she dated Ollie Locke; she was on the show for just two seasons before leaving in 2013.
"I just so wanted to be liked," she admitted, "I was so paranoid about not being liked, that I'm actually going to say it was the first sort of experience I had being a bit bullied or made to feel like I wasn't wanted."
Ashley revealed all on an episode of Walking The Dog podcast where she opened up to host Emily Rebecca Dean, "It just wasn't very nice, and it really confused me being part of something that wasn't real."
"I was like I'm typecast but I'm still broke, this is s**t, I'm essentially an extra."
Although she starred on MIC, Ashley is originally from Newcastle and we can't help but think that must have made the role of newbie even harder than if Chelsea was your neck on the woods.
Ashley isn't the first to admit that finding your role in the world of Bloody Mary's and Bluebirds is tricky.
Julia 'Muffin' Pollard, one of the latest people to join the structured reality TV confessed that it her introduction was 'uncomfortable.'
As for being 'broke,' Stevie Johnson who also appeared on the show for four seasons in 2019 previously revealed that if you weren't featured you didn't make any dollar.
He said, "I used to have weeks where I wouldn’t film, and I wouldn’t get paid."
Good jobs the cast is made up of Lords, heiresses to biscuit companies and stock-brokers really isn't it?
