We can't even began to fathom how daunting it must be to join a reality TV show, especially one as unpredictable as Made in Chelsea where everyone goes from besties to mortal enemies in 0.2 seconds once a week.
One person who had to do just that is Julia 'Muffin' Pollard.
Muffin joined the likes of Love Island alumni Tina Stinnes and Sam Vanderpump as newbies on the streets of Chelsea and she didn't exactly have the warmest of welcomes.
We managed to catch up with Muffin, as well as Sam and James Taylor's little bro Jack Taylor, about their MIC debut and Muffin revealed who was the least welcoming out of the current MIC cast.
"I think for me, it changed throughout the season," Muffin began, before going on to name who we would have expected her to say, "Obviously at the start, I mean, the episode's aired. It was awkward for me with Lauren [Sintès]- which, I mean, people can see.”
Just a tad.
Muffin's first appearance was when she went on a date with Tristan Phipps who Lauren had JUST finished things with.
“My opinions change on Lauren a lot," the newbie continued, "So when I first joined, she wasn't my bestie. But then throughout the series, I realised she just says a lot of facts. She's straight, which I like. So yeah, my opinions change on Lauren. Definitely.”
It's a running joke on the show that nobody wants to go head to head with the American. Tristan has been on the receiving end of Lauren's anger on numerous occasions and he always looks scared to death.
Imagine if Lauren and Maeva D’Ascanio joined forces to terrify all the MIC men? Now, that we would watch.
“I didn't feel great, because obviously when you're joining the show, it's nice to feel on good terms with everyone," Muffin explained, "I did feel very uncomfortable, which you can probably tell when the episode aired. I felt so awkward. So it wasn't great at the time, but then throughout the series we ended up getting on quite well. Spoiler. Oops. At the time, it wasn't the nicest feeling.”
