If you’ve watched Made in Chelsea at some point in the last few years then you’ll probably be aware that Ruby Adler’s on/off love story with Reza Amiri-Garroussi has been a long-running storyline on the show.

They rekindled things for the umpteenth time earlier this year, but it soon fizzled out once again and Ruby has now moved on with a new man.

She’s been dating Australian real estate agent and reality star Gavin Rubinstein for the past few months and if Ruby’s latest comments are anything to go by, things are going swimmingly.

Speaking on the latest episode of the Wednesdays podcast alongside former MIC star Melissa Tattam, Ruby gushed, ‘So, I’ve got a new boyfriend. He’s so great, I think he’s one of the best people I’ve ever met. He’s Australian and he’s just really cool and really great and really nice and I’m very happy.’

Talking about their blossoming relationship and how it first started, she continued, ‘It’s a whirlwind. I actually met him over ten years ago in Mykonos on holiday. We were on separate holidays staying the same hotel and then we just reconnected recently. I was like 19 when I met him.’

Ruby added, ‘He’s like a familiar face, which is quite nice actually,’ to which Melissa replied, ‘It’s a very organic, romantic, stars aligned situation.’

Ruby and Gavin made their Instagram debut as a couple last month after she was forced to deny claims she’d cheated on Reza.

‘I feel like it's been quite unfair with what is being written. They catch wind of something then words are spun and words are used that aren't true and then words are, sort of, capitalised as if they are shouting CHEAT,’ Ruby said on the Private Parts podcast in June.

‘There isn't any [evidence], but its unfair how people can just run things. This is a moment for me to just remind people, don't believe everything you read and I wasn't in a committed relationship and I'm definitely not a cheat.'

In the wake of her split from Reza, Ruby revealed she was quitting Made in Chelsea after five years. 'I am not actually going to be returning to MIC. Some of you might be thrilled. I feel like a lot of you will be thrilled,' she said in a social media video.
