It seems that whenever one explosive series of Made in Chelsea ends, we think to ourselves, "There’s no way the next season can be as good." For a second there it looked like Made in Chelsea: Corsica couldn’t be topped in terms of drama; there were fallouts, cheating scandals, and basically everything you could ask for. But then Sydney was just as bingeworthy, leaving us with high expectations for the new series.

The latest series, which will see the cast take a trip to Mauritius, is particularly unlikely to disappoint fans now that they’ve added bona fide reality royalty.

Move over Freddy Knatchbull, your royal connections mean nothing compared to the nephew of THE Lisa Vanderpump. Sam Vanderpump is one of the five newbies joining this season’s cast, and since we love a nepo baby, he’s already our fav.

We recently caught up with Sam to ask him all of our burning questions on his new gig as a reality star and he didn't disappoint when it came to spilling the tea on his co-stars.

“Opinions definitely changed. I went into the show very much having good opinions of some people which then turned a complete u-turn and bad opinions of other people which turned into really good opinions," he exclusively told heat.

Sam continued “You will very much see my reactions to certain people I enter as friends with and it turns very different and people I didn’t enter as friends with and again, by the end of it, we’re hugging. So yeah, very surprised in that regard.”

That’s all well and good, but we wanted names, and luckily he didn’t hold back on which MIC lads he has had a change of heart about.

“My opinion definitely changes from a positive to negative of the likes of Tristan [Phipps] and a negative to a positive in the likes of Sam Prince.”

“There’s some things that happen. Some people that you feel like you can have respect for, it just goes out the window.”

We don’t know which revelation shocks us more, that Tristan does something to get in new Sam's bad books, or that Sam Prince has won over yet another cast member somehow.

It all sounds very mysterious, and if we weren't already excited enough to tune in, now we can't wait to find out how Tristan has wronged the new Sam.

Personally, we wouldn't want Lisa Vanderpump as an enemy, but you do you, Tristan.

Sarah O'Byrne has been writing for heat since May 2023 and credits Made in Chelsea as her reason for moving from Ireland to the UK, she was shocked to find that not everyone speaks like that.
