The latest series of Married At First Sight UK is just days away and following the announcement of this year’s cast, we absolutely can’t wait to tune in.
The first set of brides and grooms to walk down the aisle have been revealed and they feature former Beauty School Cop Outs star Sacha Jones and Polly Sellman, who flew across the world to take part in the experiment.
Producers also usually send in a group of intruder brides and grooms at the show’s halfway point to shake things up and although Channel 4 is keeping their identity under wraps for now, one of the latecomers has seemingly been revealed.
According to reports, Amy Kenyon, a 29-year-old wedding coordinator has signed up to walk down the aisle herself and will be taking part in this year’s MAFS UK as an intruder bride.
Amy also reportedly has history with a MAFS UK 2023 groom, having allegedly dated Arthur Poremba before she joined the 2024 cast.
Arthur was paired with Laura Jayne Vaughan on last year’s MAFS UK and caused a stir when he told her that he loved her the first time they met before revealing that he’d taken his wedding speech from Google.
Things didn’t work out between Arthur and Laura, although they’ve remained friends.
It’s claimed that Amy and Arthur had been romantically involved before she ‘disappeared’ to film MAFS.
A source told The Sun, ‘Amy and Arthur had been messaging each other for a little while.
‘She then disappeared for three months to go on the show and then all of a sudden reappeared one day and he went “where the f**k did you go?” She said she couldn’t tell him so he asked her if she’d been on Married At First Sight and she confirmed she had.’
The source also revealed that Amy and Arthur met up after she returned home from filming, but their potential romance didn’t go anywhere.
They explained, “They ended up meeting up and going to a rave together after that, but didn’t get on romantically so decided not to pursue things.”
Despite the reports, a representative for Amy denied that she dated Arthur.
