Here at heatworld we LOVE a festival and Wireless is definitely one of our favourite events of the year.
The line-up? Incredible. The atmosphere? A vibe. The weather? Goals. The outfits? INCRED.
And this year was no different, in fact the line-up was so good the festival took place at three different venues.
Thanks to YouTube Shorts we were lucky enough to go to Wireless at Finsbury Park and hun, it was INCREDIBLE. Not only did we get to see Cardi B, Nicki Minaj and Sza headline the festival but we got VIP tickets which meant we felt boujee AF.
YouTube Shorts even had their own Shorts Stop, where fans were shooting YouTube Shorts live and direct from the festival in specially designed booths that represented Lil Baby, Mahalia and Central Cee. Obsessed.
If you missed out on Wireless this year, don’t worry because we rounded up the best moments from the festival…
Cardi B vs a fan
Watching Cardi B live was an experience to say the least but seeing her have an ‘altercation’ with a fan at the end of her performance? Yeah, that was pretty WILD.
The vibes with Sza
Okay because honesty is the best policy, we’re going to be honest. So we didn’t know ALL the words to Sza’s songs but it didn’t matter because the vibes were immaculate. The sun was setting, the atmosphere was chilled and everyone was buzzing.
Celeb spotting
As we got to be in the VIP section it meant two great things - the toilets were waaaaay better and we saw a bunch of celebs. Leigh-Anne from Little Mix was rocking neon cargo trousers and a crop top, we saw Crystal Palace footballer Wilfried Zaha with his bodyguard and a bunch of Love Island stars including Jack Fowler, Antigoni Buxton, Chloe Burrows and Priscilla Anyabu.
Jack Harlow bringing out Aitch
Jack Harlow is always a vibe but things got even better when he randomly brought Aitch on stage. It was iconic.
Nicki Minaj singing all the classics
There’s nothing more annoying than an artist performing all their new songs and not the classics, luckily that wasn’t the case with Nicki. She played ALL the hits (basically any of her songs tbh) and it made up for the fact that you had to queue for about an hour just to get into the festival.
YouTube Shorts stop
In the VIP and the main section of the festival, YouTube Shorts had their own section which meant we got to see some YouTubers. Our highlight? Definitely seeing Adeola Patronne, Mariam Musa and Anastacia Kingsnorth.
While we recover from the heavy weekend, you can follow #Wireless on YouTube Shorts to see what else went down at the festival.
