From the moment ballroom dancer Curtis Pritchard left the Love Island villa in fourth place alongside Maura Higgins last month, rumours were rife that he'd landed a role on Simon Cowell's show The Greatest Dancer.
When filming for series two kicked off last week, these rumours were quickly confirmed, with Curtis joining the star-studded team as the new receptionist. Now, as dance captains Cheryl, Matthew Morrison, Oti Mabuse and new captain Todrick Hall get to work, Curtis has joined the team and by the looks of it he's fitting right in!
As well as hosts Alesha Dixon and Jordan Banjo praising his work, former Girls Aloud singer Cheryl has now delighted fans by sharing a snap with the Love Islander.
Posting a photo of herself with Curtis photo-bombing in the background, Cheryl wrote, 'Oh hi Curtis 🙋🏻♀ don’t mind me @greatestdancer'. [sic]
Curtis was quick to reply to the Geordie Princess, writing, '@cherylofficial couldn’t resist photo bombing your 10 out of 10 picture 🙌 x'. [sic]
Curtis, who has also landed a role on RuPaul's Drag Race UK, has taken over from Thames TV producer Amelia Wilson, and will have the job of greeting contestant before they perform for Cheryl, Matthew and Oti.
Posting a message on Instagram, Curtis wrote, 'Still hasn’t sunk in working on @greatestdancer 🕺🏻 The last five days have been amazing filming the auditions can’t wait for you all to see it! #thegreatestdancer thank you everyone ❤'. [sic]
Meanwhile, Curtis isn't the only Love Island 2019 star to be in demand. Both Amber Gill and Tommy Fury have reportedly been signed up for the 2020 series of Dancing On Ice, with Maura Higgins and Ovie Soko landing guest roles on This Morning.
It's also good news for Curtis' ex-flame Amy Hart! After she officially quit her job as an air hostess earlier this week, the 26-year-old has been invited to a tonne of events, as well as appearing on Loose Women a number of times.
