Now Winter Love Island is finally over, the Islanders have wasted no time at all and have since been revealing all the drama and scandalous goings-on from inside the villa. From secret rows to unaired shenanigans, this year’s couples have been well and truly SPILLING THE TEA.
Will Young and Jessie Wynter have been very loved up since they left the villa just a day before the final, taking fifth place. They’ve been giving us all the content - a London sightseeing trip, their adorable farm life TikToks and a recent late-night Tesco date, which was SO CUTE.
But now, Will has revealed that not all is as chill as it seems on the outside as there’s an Islander he’s planning on having words with now that their time in the villa is over.
We chatted with Will and Jessie on an episode of Heat Dates to find out about how they are finding life after Love Island. They filled us in on everything from villa friendships to going long distance and Islander drama. And it turns out, Will’s not happy with one of his fellow contestants and is feeling slightly left out.
When the pair were told that Islander Martin Akinola lovingly branded Jessie the ‘mum of the villa,’ Will had a few words to say.
“Did he not say I was the dad of the villa?” Will asked, claiming that he and Jessie are ‘mum and dad vibes.’ Of course, we think so too, they’re just adorable.
“No? We’ll be having words Martin,” he joked.
Jessie revealed that she definitely did feel like a mum figure in the villa, with her caring antics. “I feel like I was one of the older people in the villa,” she told us.
“I was always doing the dishes, making sure the boys got fed. I feel like if I didn’t act like that, they would run wild!” We all need someone like Jessie in our lives.
The loved-up couple will always be the ‘mum and dad’ of the villa, in our eyes at least.
