We’ve had six weeks of dating dramas, shock scandals and even a sensational axing but the latest series of Married At First Sight UK came to an end last week (albeit a day later after a MAJOR E4 blunder) when the remaining couples decided whether to renew their vows and stay together or call time on their relationships.
Adam Aveling had a massive surprise in store for Tayah Victoria (and viewers) as he popped the question and asked her to marry him – for real, this time – but perhaps one of the biggest shocks came when Amy Christophers and Joshua Christie decided to renew their vows and continue life as a couple despite weeks of friction between them.
The pair have clashed over Josh’s lack of affection, while he branded Amy “needy”, however one area where they definitely got on was in the bedroom. Both Josh and Amy have been open about their sex life, but the show’s resident sex expert Charlene Douglas has issued a warning that sexual chemistry doesn’t necessarily mean their relationship will be successful.
Chatting to KISS Breakfast’s Harriet Rose in the latest episode of heat’s #RUWatching, Charlene explained, “Amy and Josh were very open about the fact they were having really good sex. I questioned that a little bit.
“If outside of the bedroom, you’re not connecting with each other at the dinner table and things like that and if there’s no emotional connection then I struggle to understand what happens in the bedroom unless you just go into roleplay mode.”

In other MAFS news, Bob Veysey has revealed which of his co-stars he wishes he had been paired with after his relationship with Megan Wolfe broke down following her secret snog with Jordon Mundell.
He told OK!, “The only one that really sticks to mind is with Tayah. Me, Adam and Tayah are all really close. She was just so lovely with me as well, I spent a lot of time with Adam and Tayah as well.
“Probably Tayah and Marilyse, they were just, I am really close with them anyway because of Adam so yeah. It would have been her [Tayah] and probably Marilyse."
