The holy grail for corkscrew curls 🙌

Amber Gill hair mask

Amber Gill is a real one in the most literal sense. We were obsessed with her on Love Island for her straight-talking attitude, we are so here for the fact that she stands up for her bffs and we low-key love how into her skincare she is (double cleanse, ladies and gents).

In the latest episode of 'reasons why Amber Gill should be elected for Prime Minister', the 23 year old has given us the literal key to her gorgeously curly locks.

In the past, Amber's been pretty up-front about her love of the Philip Kingsley Elasticizer, and we can't blame her. That stuff is like magic cream for tired, lifeless hair.

So, you might ask? What's the caviat?

Well, reader, while the Philip Kingsley treatment will, to quote Amber, "Resurrect hair from the pits of hell," it also comes in at a hefty £34 for 150ml.

The solution? Well, it would seem Ms. Gill has found that for us, too (seriously, Amber for PM) and it's the Sunny Isle Jamaican Black Castor Oil Intensive Repair Masque.

By comparison, the Sunny Isle mask is just £8.53 for around 450ml (16oz). That's a saving of £31 per 150ml.

Reviewing the mask on her Instagram, Amber showed her post-treatment hair to followers, telling them, "This is my hair two days after using the mask. It's actually quite cute, I like her."

The mask claims to leave hair looking "softer, healthier, fortified, hydrated and damage free." Sounds pretty good, right?

So, now that you've got your curl-defining hair mask DOWN. Have you thought about investing in some argan oil to, well, repair those split ends?

Now, obviously, nothing can actually put split ends back together (and if something can, we want to know about it), but you can certainly keep them moisturised until we're allowed to take a trip to the hairdresser's.

Argan oil isn't expensive, you can get a hair mask with it in for as little as £2.48, and it works to revitalise hair by increasing its elasticity and restoring shine.

Plus, it's always fun to take an evening to yourself. You know, hair mask, face mask, big hot bubble bath. Go on, hun.
