We love a bit of self-care and all this time at home has really given us an excuse to look after ourselves inside and out. Each week, we'll be asking the celeb lot to share their Sunday self-care routines, because taking care of yourself is more important than ever.

This week it's all about Made In Chelsea star and all-round mega-babe Amelia Mist. She loves a boujee outfit, is a self-confessed 'weird hippy' and has been cheering up our Instagram feeds with chatty make-up tutorials and cute couple selfies with long-term boyfriend Tom Whitehouse.

She's happy to confirm that filming is in full swing for series 21 of Made In Chelsea and has revealed the measures in place due to COVID-19.

"It’s been very difficult [filming in a pandemic] and I have no idea how they worked around it, but there in an away house right now and there’s about 30 cast members, I think and only about ten or 13 people maximum can go in and stay there and it’s like their own little bubble. People are coming in and out, so obviously will go through the testing - if you’re Covid-free you’ll get swapped into the house. Basically they’re trying to get through everyone I think, depending on the storyline."

Amelia chats exclusively to heat about her fail-safe foundation for filming, looking after her mental health and her ultimate Sunday routine...

On watching Made In Chelsea

The entire country might be tuning into Made In Chelsea on a Monday night, but does Amelia watch herself back with the rest of us?

She laughs, "I used to watch it, because I was like, 'oh my gosh, I have no idea what I’m going to look like!'

Pre-lockdown the whole cast would have viewing parties, which sounds absolutely wild.

"Always on the first episode the whole cast will get dressed up and watch it in a studio normally. Now it’s just me and my flat mate and my boyfriend at home watching it, so that’s literally it, but other than that I tend not to watch it because I hate watching myself!

"Recently, I definitely don’t check it [Twitter] I used to be obsessed, I used to be like, 'oh my gosh, do people like me? Do people not like me?' but now I’m just like, whatever. Two years go by and you suddenly stop caring what people think!"

Preach it, hun.

On her go-to make-up for TV

Amelia's make-up always looks babein' on the show, so what are her ride-or-die make-up products for filming? Clue: it involves a lot of Hourglass.

"I always do my own make-up for the show, I’ve just started doing my make-up IGTVs which is super fun and I’ve always really loved make-up."

"Sometimes the lighting doesn’t match the make-up, like if you have a night scene, you’ve got to do darker make-up or whatever. But I always always do like a lip liner and I love the Hourglass lipstick (Amelia loves the shade When I Was) and always, always some Hourglass foundation which is my favourite."

On her ultimate self-care Sunday

Sundays have been looking a little different for us all in lockdown and Amelia is no exception and laughs that weekends used to be spent recovering in bed with a hangover. Nowadays, they're a lot more wholesome.

"On a Sunday, I wake up, normally make a nice brunch with tomatoes, toast and yummy stuff. I’d then go for a walk and I always make sure I watch cooking programmes in the morning, I don’t know why, I just feel so wholesome when I watch them. Then I’d do a little face mask, then watch a movie in the evening and maybe get a Deliveroo at night. I just take it easy!"

On skincare

"Sisley and Tan-Luxe," Amelia answers immediately when asked about her go-to skincare products, "I always make sure I get my little Tan-Luxe drops in. I don’t do it daily, I just do it when I can, but it makes you feel good when you do it."

Amelia is a huge fan of theSisley moisturiser"it's just so good!", the Elemis Superfood night cream and the cult-favourite Elemis Collagen cleansing balm.

" I’ve also love my Tanluxe Hyaluronic Serum which are really good, I think they just make your skin look really moisturised."

Her go-to tip for really great skin, you ask? "Drink lots of water! And if you’ve been outside, make sure you give your skin a good moisturise when you get in. Give it some attention when it’s been cold, especially."

There you have it.

On go-to skincare tools

"I’ve recently discovered ‘face shaving’ aka dermaplaning and omg, it’s a game changer!"

"I use the Hollywood Browzer tool I think it’s about £9 and I am literally obsessed. When I have some me-time, I’ll run a long hot bath, light some candles, cleanse my skin then and then dermaplane in front of the mirror, there’s something super therapeutic about it. It takes off all the gunk on your skin a removes all the fuzzy hair…you look like you’ve had a facial afterwards - it’s been getting me through ‘lockdown skin’!"

Off to shave our face, brb.

On sleep

Sleep is another thing we're suddenly geeking out about now a lot of us have more time on our hands.

"I like my sleep! I always relax and have a little listen to some meditative music, if my boyfriend’s not here which is hardly ever, but I love listening to that. I also spray my Neom Lavender Spray, I love that. I’m quite a good sleeper so whenever I’m ready to go to sleep I’ll just watch a bit of a movie and just pass out. I’m always in bed by 10pm unless I’m out… actually, 9pm!"

On spirituality

Amelia is known for being in tune with her spiritual self and getting her pals into the world of crystals - including fellow co-star and BFF Verity Bowditch.

"I’ve always been very spiritual. I was at this press event and there was this huge spiritualist, I had no idea who she was and she did the Victoria's Secret models before and she’s like renowned for being very good. She comes over to me and she was like, 'I can just feel your energy' and I was like, 'oh, what do you mean?' and she said, 'You have like an inner power that you don’t know about and you’re like a fairy!

I always thought I was a bit psychic, if you don’t believe this you’re probably laughing at me, but that sort of honed me in to do a bit more research. I do my meditation and I love my crystals, I just find them so interesting.

For meditation, I used to use the Headspace app but now I just google the healing bowls and listen to that, I find it calming for the mind, it’s my favourite."

On life-changing books

"Of course, we all love The Secret which is all about spirituality, Law of Attraction and manifestation, that’s my number one book. Also, there’s another book called Sapiensand it’s like a brief history of humankind and it talking about how we’ve evolved from so many years ago to how we are now as human beings, which I love. It’s so interesting, I’m not a massive reader, I lose interest quite quickly, but they’re the two books which I’ve loved."

On veganism

"I’ve been vegetarian since I was four or five and it was completely my decision, my parents still eat meat. Basically, I love animals and always have done, so I’ve had no desire to eat meat or did I like it. Then a few years ago I sort of educated myself about the milk industry and everything around that and how the cruelty of animals is prevalent. I just can’t eat it or drink it because it goes through my mind, “how was it made?” It was a really easy decision for me."

Her go-to vegan comfort meal of choice?

"If I have the time, I make a really good vegan mushroom stroganoff, it’s so good. Or anything pasta, I love pasta. I love salad weirdly, I always crave it… though that’s not comfort food is it?"

We wish we craved salad, too...

On mental health

"I always try to go outside, I’ve got into walking everyday and doing a good five miles or as far as I can go and just make sure I breathe in the fresh air and always make sure I wake up at a reasonable time. Make sure I’m on top of everything. Fresh air and drink lots of water and early nights. Keeping a routine is good for keeping that momentum going. A glass of wine also doesn’t hurt!"
