Despite the internet's obvious investment in Amelia Dimoldenberg and Aitch's relationship, the pair have confirmed that they are no longer an item and are back to being 'just friends'. Classic.
Amelia, best known for her YouTube series Chicken Shop Date in which she interviews a variety of musicians (and er... Louis Theroux?), doesn't seem to have the best luck if her on screen persona is anything to go off.
However the chemistry between Amelia and Aitch back in 2019 was undeniable. The two have remained friendly ever since and they even hung out on the red carpet at The BRIT Awards 2022.
So when Aitch started posting videos on TikTok of himself with a date with a mystery girl a couple of months back, Amelia was the likely candidate.
It was during the second date that Aitch teased his fans again and proved he's not one for a cheap date, in fact he racked up an impressive £752 bill.
Fans were quick to analyse the video and they soon realised that the nails and the clothes worn by his date, looked very similar to a photo Amelia had recently posted.
It was during their third date that all the mystery disappeared and Aitch posted clips of himself and Amelia on TikTok.
In the video the pair went bowling, shared an ice cream and Aitch even gave Amelia a cheeky kiss on the cheek. He also captioned the post saying, "Yeah you guessed it, f--k off now".
Amelia also posted a video of the date on TikTok, seemingly confirming the rumours.
Fans soon expressed their joy at the reveal with one person writing, "OH MY GOD MY LIFE IS COMPLETE."
Another commented, "It is unnatural how invested in this I am".
However some fans suggested the reveal could be a publicity stunt in the run-up to the release of Aitch's new single, Baby.
Parts of the song were featured in every video of the dates, and in the time since the song was released on 10 March no further dates have been posted on TikTok.
"Love Aitch and Amelia together but I fear it is all promo for his new song lol," said one fan.
Another commented, "Don't break my heart."
Amelia recently responded to the rumours that their relationship was a publicity stunt during an Instagram Live with Aitch.
She asked him, "Do you think it's funny that everyone thinks this is for publicity?"
Aitch responded, "I know, you can't do anything now without people thinking it's fake."
He then added, "Let them keep thinking it."
While Amelia is playing a character in Chicken Shop Date, it doesn't necessarily mean she has ruled out finding love through the show. In a recent profile written on Amelia by The New York Times, the interviewer said, "These dates aren’t real, of course, but Ms. Dimoldenberg said she believed she would, or at least could, meet her future husband through the show.
"In that way, 'Chicken Shop Date' is a lie that is also true."
Amelia shared a screenshot of this quote on her Instagram story with the caption "😅😍", potentially in reference to the Aitch rumours. Only time will tell.
Talking on KISS Breakfast, Amelia opened up about her relationship with Aitch and confessed, "We are hanging out… I like him a lot, he’s great".
When asked what she likes about him she said, "I think that I love that he loves me so much... it’s nice when someone pays you attention and is interested in you."
Aitch opened up about their relationship even further when he appeared on the show the next day and even referred to Amelia as his "wife".
"That’s my wife man, yeah that’s my wife," he gushed.
Cuuuute.
He then said, "We are in an open relationship, obviously she still goes to the chicken shop to date other rappers."
Good thing Aitch isn't the jealous type, ey? By the sounds of things it looks like Amelia's going to continue to go on dates with multiple rappers...
As of now it does seem like they are officially going out (which we are completely here for), although until we see an engagement ring there will always be a little part of us that thinks they might be having us on.

Who is Amelia Dimoldenberg's dream date?
Amelia's dream guest on Chicken Shop Date is none other than Drake (yep, that's right, Champagne Papi himself 🍾) and this dream doesn't seem too far away from becoming a reality. In 2021 Amelia commented "😍" on one of Drake's Instagram posts, to which he replied "🍗 shop date?"
Amelia played it cool writing, "❤️🍗🇬🇧 I'll treat you to a portion of chicken nuggets, will be the best date of your life xx".
It's unclear when this date will be happening but it seems to be in the works.
