It’s no secret that we’re obsessed with Love Island 2019’s Anna Vakili here at heat. She won a special place in our hearts the moment she launched into her iconic “two days” rant at then-boyfriend Jordan Hames in the villa and we’ve been following her every move ever since.
However, we never saw Anna’s latest venture coming…
The former pharmacist has sparked rumours she’s launching a music career after she shared a photo of herself in a recording studio with her sister Mandi. Well, she wouldn’t be the first Islander to do it – just look at Wes Nelson, Stephanie Lam and Jack Fowler.
The sisters could be seen posing in front of some recording equipment in the snap, which Anna teasingly captioned, “Big announcement next week…can you guess what it is? 🚨”
Naturally, Anna’s followers began speculating that she could be recording music including one who wrote, “Come on don’t say you bringing out a tune???”
Another commented, “Don't tell me you started singing 🙀🙀😻”.
“New DJs in da house 2 lovely ladies,” added a third.

Anna only added fuel to the fire when she tagged a music producer and songwriter, suggesting that she could be working on a track of her own. We’d love to hear it, tbh…
However, others proposed that Anna and Mandi could be working on a podcast, with one commenting, “You and Mandi have got your own podcast? ❤️”.
One more wrote, “If it’s a pod I think it would be amazing.”
It looks like those hoping for a podcast could be in luck too as the Instagram account for The Woods Studios, where Anna and Mandi were recording, shared a post of their own with the caption, “That’s a wrap!! Series 1 of @sistersinthecityofficial complete ✅ Keep a look out for the launch very soon!”
Whatever the sisters have been working on, we can’t wait to hear it and we’re not alone as Anna’s Love Island pals Amber Gill and Yewande Biala shared their excitement in the comments section.

Speaking on heat’s Under The Duvet with Harriet Rose and Chris Taylor in July, Anna was asked by Chris if she thought that "anyone in the 2021 season has got it in their locker to go as nuclear as you did at Jordan?"
She replied, "No way. They didn’t even show how hard it went. It was way worse, it was way worse than what they showed. They had to take me to the beach hut after like ‘you went a bit too crazy’, I’d just had enough by then to be honest, everyone walking in and out, I’d just had enough."
