Remember the absolutely bonkers moment that Wayne Lineker and Chloe Ferry managed to convince us all they were engaged to be married last February? Somehow, the wily reality star duo duped us all into believing Wayne had popped the question and Chloe had said yes before a pal of the pair revealed it was all one big prank just as we were nipping out to buy a hat.
Well, the pair may not be a couple but they’re still best pals following their stint on Celebs Go Dating: The Mansion last year and they recently reunited for a night out on the Toon – and what’s a night out with a few boozy snaps? Chloe shared a photo of them cosying up while enjoying a bev or two on Instagram and gushed about their “unbreakable bond”.
“Haha my bestie. Unbreakable. Besties since we had 1k followers. Love you forever ...tonight gonna get messy 🤪,” commented Wayne. But many of Chloe’s fans were left unconvinced that their relationship was purely platonic.
One of her followers commented, “Friends with benefits? Surely?”
Another added, “You two really need to get together ❤️🔥,” while a third wrote, “Lovely couple 🧡.”
However, there were plenty of others who supported their adorable friendship, with one writing, “Why can’t two people be friends without all the nasty digs.”
One more commented, “Awwww love you two together ❤️ great friends… looking good guys.”

Chloe was thought to be dating Johnny Wilbo after they put on a cosy display on her Instagram story and the pair even sparked engagement rumours earlier this year, however the Geordie Shore star recently let slip that they aren’t even officially in a relationship yet.
She told The Sun, “I’m not actually in a relationship, basically I’m meeting someone as a friend and I’m enjoying his company. I don’t like to rush anything. I’m not in a relationship, I’m just enjoying his company at the minute, I do like him but I don’t like to put pressure on things, I like to take things really really really slow.
It’s nice and I’m enjoying it. We haven’t put a label on it because we don’t want to rush anything."

As for those engagement rumours, Chloe added, “I am not engaged, but eventually when I do meet the next person I get with or with Johnny, I want this person to be the man that I marry. I still want my 10 kids, I’ve got to start soon because I’m getting old. I’m not engaged, I wish I was already engaged. I’m not.
"He's probably one of the best guys I've dated, I could trust him with my life. He’s a good lad but we’re not putting any pressure on it, we’re not in a relationship, we’re just meeting every other week."
