While 2021 was eventful in many ways for the Beckham family, 2022 is already looking even more promising for David and Victoria and their four children – what with eldest boy Brooklyn getting married, exciting new business ventures and, most importantly for Posh, more time spent together as a couple.
After seeing in the New Year in Miami before heading to Bermuda, David, 46, and Victoria, 47, looked more loved up than ever (despite being together for 25 years) as they enjoyed some much-needed time in the sun. And our source says, the former footballer is determined to put his wife first this year.
“Over the past few months, David and Victoria have really reconnected as they put away the stresses of work and family life and this recent holiday has been one of their best ever,” our insider says. “Normally when they are away, one of them can be distracted by work but this time, they put their phones away and just concentrated on being together as a couple and a family.
“David often admits he can be guilty of not being fully present but his new promise to Vic is that they’ll spend more time together as a couple, have fun and that work will come second. They have so much to look forward to and he feels they’ve got to the point in their lives where they can relax more and enjoy it all without worrying about other things.”

“And getting in as much quality time all together as she could – she's so keenly aware that it will all change really quickly.
"The kids are growing faster than she can keep track of and now with Brooklyn's wedding coming up soon, well she could even be a granny by this time next year. She was determined that it was all about relaxing, letting go of control and hanging out and just trying to savour the moments.”
But once bonus to the children getting older and more independent, is that Victoria and David can have fun and let their hair down more without the responsibility of such young kids.
“They tend to really go for it more these days, they usually make a point of having a drink at lunchtime and living it up more when in Miami or on holidays,” our source explains. “It's really obvious how much more loved up they are these days – and one key thing is they no longer really argue over the kids!! Raising four kids is no joke, and especially with them all so close in age – and having to navigate that path in public too. It did cause a lot of rows for a few years, which were exacerbated by their work pressures and international travel, but now they’re in such a good place.”
