We’ve been rooting for Love Island lovebirds Mimii Ngulube and Ayo Odukoya from, well, basically the moment they stepped foot in the villa, but their journey has been a rocky one to say the least.
Uma Jammeh threw a spanner in the works for their blossoming romance when she joined the show as a bombshell and stole Ayo, but he eventually found his way back to Mimii and things were plain sailing from there – until Casa Amor, that is.
Viewers will know that Ayo’s head did a complete 180 when he laid eyes on Jessica Spencer during Casa and he ultimately chose to recouple with her, leaving Mimii single. But even now that Mimii is coupled up with Josh Oyinsan, it seems like she still has lingering feelings for Ayo and they’re definitely reciprocated.
However, according to dumped Love Island 2024 star Patsy Field, there’s one Islander that Ayo really likes and it’s NOT Mimii or Jess. Say what, now?
Patsy recently went live on social media with fellow dumped Islander Munveer Jabbal to discuss the latest goings-on in the villa and she dropped the whopping great bombshell that Ayo fancies Nicole Samuel.
Yep, the very same Nicole who recently became Ciaran Davies’ official girlfriend after they dropped the L-bomb on the show. BRB, we’re off to pick our jaws up off the floor.
“I think that actually, he’s been f**king eye wandering from day one. He has, honestly. I think she just deserves so much better,” Patsy told Munveer.
“She was always eyes for Ayo and he wasn’t actually always eyes for her.”
She explained, “Honestly, you heard it here first, I think secretly he fancied Nicole. You know how him and her were really close as a friendship?
“She never looked in his direction but he was actually looking at her. Yeah, 100 per cent.”
We’re never speechless, but this has honestly left us GAGGED.
Just imagine how different things would be in that villa if Ayo and Nicole ended up getting together?
