When ITV started revealing the identifies of their first batch of Love Island All Stars and Anton Danyluk's picture popped up on that gloomy day back in January (what an 'ick' of a month that was) we asked a question, then made an observation, then asked two more questions here at HQ:
-
Who is that?
-
He's fit.
-
Wait, wasn't that the guy that unfollowed Molly-Mae?
-
WAIT, wasn't he the one who got his mum to shave his bum?
For the benefit of those who didn't watch Love Island 2019 (sorry, get yourself over to ITVX and don't come back to us until you've rectified that – we don't need your hits, we need you educated), Anton shocked his fellow Islanders and ITV2 viewers alike in the first week of his series when he admitted that he regularly gets his mum to shave his bum. It all started when Anton got a job as a Butler in the Buff and his mum commented that his peach was simply too hairy for that gig...
Anton's mum then started doing a bunch of press interviews about this. At the time, she told The Daily Record, “It's something I do every couple of weeks and it's no big deal in our house,” she told the Daily Record.
“At the end of the day, I used to change his nappies so shaving his bum is nothing. What's the difference in that and taking a bit of hair away from his backside? We are really close and it's the least I can do for him,” she concluded.
Anyway, it's safe to say Anton has become synonymous with his, erm, the generosity of his mother.
Naturally, when Anton stepped into the spotlight again for Love Island: All Stars and grew close to Georgia Harrison on the show, some fans couldn't help but wonder: would Anton's mum be passing the baton – or razor – to Georgia? 29 just seems like the right age, doesn't it?
During an Instagram Q&A, a fan of smooth bottoms asked Anton, "Will you let Georgia shave your bum?"
Anton basically replied saying it was up to Georgia, but was clearly keen on the idea, as he then asked her, "@georgiaharrison what we saying?"
We'll be honest, we fully expected Georgia H to gloss over this one (bless her, she's already got over one Anton 'ick'), but she responded with a public shut down.
The Love Island 2017 star wrote, "I'm really not down for this and it's a bonding moment for him and his mum so I'll leave that one one to her. He's in bed already and I miss him."
Okay, even we've got the 'ick' now, but to be fair to them, we're a week out and Georgia H and Anton are still together, so take that, haters.
Ah, the 'ick's' gone again. We just recalled Anton dismantling bro code in the kitchen – swoon. That, and the thought of Anton playing Butler in the Buff...
