Love Island runner up Kaz Kamwi has broken her silence on the girls’ feud with fellow 2021 Islander Jake Cornish after he claimed that none of them were talking to him.
Kaz made firm friends with Liberty Poole in the villa, and while Kaz took a little while to find her match, Liberty seemed to have fallen hard after coupling up with Jake on day one and swanning through to the final weeks together.

But it wasn’t to last and when Jake broke Liberty’s heart– amid claims her “messiness” had given him the Ick and that “the affection died out” – the former couple both decided to leave the show in the 11th hour, walking just days before the final.
Jake certainly made himself enemies out of a lot of Liberty’s fans, but her friends from the villa had her back 100% with Jake admitting back in September, "I don’t speak to any of the girls. I think I’m a lone wolf that side. They’re there and I’ve just gone this way."
He was also suspiciously absent from the televised reunion, with host Laura Whitmore saying, “So, sadly Jake can’t be with us this evening as he isn’t feeling very well. But get well soon and sending you lots of love.”
Fans weren’t convinced though, with one writing, “Lool Jake we know you ain’t sick,” while another said, “Jake didn’t want to face the music!!!”
And despite Chloe Burrows telling metro.co.uk that she and Jake were “cool”, fellow Islander Sharon Gaffka admitted that there WAS a rift in the group, saying on her Instagram Stories, “It is hard because I want to be friends with everybody, but not everybody is friends with everybody since they left.”

She added, “I feel like I am playing mum and trying to keep the peace with certain people, but it is really nice to see him [Jake] out and about and to know he still has friends from the villa.”
But it looks as though the group might have finally all made up, as Kaz posted a series of videos from Lucinda Strafford's birthday party that clearly showed Jake and her boyfriend Tyler Cruishank getting down on the dance floor (and looking super pally).
Speaking to The Mirror after Jake’s reunion no-show, Liberty admitted that the couple hadn’t kept in touch.
“I do think he was genuinely ill for the reunion. I don’t keep in contact with him every day anymore, obviously we’re exes.
“We’re friends, no bad blood. Hopefully he’s alright but I’m not too sure.”
But despite not finding love in the villa, Liberty’s star is certainly on the rise as she’s predicted to become a “multi millionaire” and one of the most successful stand out stars of the series.
She’s also currently in training for Dancing on Ice 2022 and said, “I grew up watching Dancing On Ice and my mum actually used to be a figure skater.
“I ice skate as a hobby sometimes so I can get around the rink but I can’t do any tricks, no pirouetting or anything so I’m really looking forward to pushing myself and learning as much as I possibly can. Not just skating around the ice but actually dancing on ice. Bring it on!”
