It’s been a few days since Love Island’s Scott Thomas quit the All Stars villa after realising he didn’t have a spark with Tina Stinnes and it’s fair to say that his second time on the show just didn’t work out.

Scott sparked a connection with Kady McDermott on Love Island 2016 and they continued to date outside the villa, but he definitely didn’t have quite the same luck on All Stars.

As well as Tina, Scott also got to know India Reynolds after the public coupled them up on day one. While we saw Scott explore things with them on-screen, it turns out he had another potential connection that got left on the cutting room floor.

During an appearance on Love Island’s The Morning After podcast, Scott was quizzed by hosts Indiyah Polack and Amy Hart about who he would have liked to couple up with on day one if he could have picked.

Although he admitted that the public ‘did him a favour’ by choosing India, Scott revealed that he also had his eye on Elma Pazar.

‘As time went on, I was drawn to Elma because of her personality and everything else,’ he explained. ‘I thought she was mint, but I just don’t know if it was like a sexual attraction.’

Scott also revealed he thought Kaz Crossley was ‘fit’ but didn’t pursue things with her as they were both ‘fiery characters’.

‘She said I was in her top two, but she said, “You never really tried it on with me,”’ Scott said.

Explaining why he didn’t explore a romance with Kaz, he continued, ‘But I think I just know myself, right?

‘And when I’ve got two fiery characters together, we could clash.’

Scott quit the villa in tearful scenes after calling things off with Tina. Speaking to Indiyah and Amy on the podcast, he opened up about his decision.

‘I think for me it just got to a point where I couldn't see where I was gonna go romantically,’ he explained.

‘I tried my hardest with the connections I had and I was just like, I just don't know where I'm going to go from there, so it was nothing to do with the argument [with Elma] and I just want everybody to know that.’

Speaking about Elma, he added, ‘She's amazing and she was like one of my favourite girls in there as well, so nothing changes that.’
