They’re two of the biggest shows on the telly box but we never thought we’d see the day that we get a Love Island x Big Brother crossover.

Well, brace yourselves, because that day is here as a former Big Brother housemate has been confirmed as a Love Island bombshell and we are well and truly gobsmacked.

So, ‘who is the housemate in question?’, we hear you ask. None other than Big Brother 2023 housemate Zak Srakaew.

Big Brother fans will remember that Zak appeared on the first ever ITV2 series of the show, entering the house on day one. He was evicted on day 14 and has spent the past couple of years continuing with his modelling career.

But now, he’s back on our screens as a Casa Amor bombshell on Love Island USA. In fact, he’s already in the Fiji villa getting to know the girls as we speak.

Zak’s team announced the exciting news on Instagram as they shared a picture of his official press shot with the caption, ‘Coming to America 👋🏽.’

Former housemate Kerry Riches was quick to congratulate him in the comments section, writing, ‘I recognise this face 🩵🩷🩵 Have the best time Zak, go smash it! Xx.

Recently dumped Love Island 2025 star Sophie Lee added, ‘G’waaan Zak! 👏❤️🏝️,’ while Love Island 2021’s Toby Aromolaran commented, ‘LETS GOOO.’

Following his eviction from the Big Brother house, Zak went viral for pulling the perfect model pout during his exit interview with hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best and when Love Island USA viewers got their first glimpse of Zak heading into Casa Amor, they flooded TikTok with videos about him.

‘I knew he looked familiar,’ one social media user captioned their TikTok as they showed Zak on Love Island before panning to a shot of his iconic model face.

Zak already had a Love Island USA connection before entering the villa as he’s pals with last year’s runner-up Miguel Harichi.
