When it was announced that seven newbies were joining the cast of Made in Chelsea we knew that Love Island bombshell Chuggs Wallis would be one of them.

The Love Island 2021 star, who returned to the romance reality TV show for All Stars season two, was already pals with Casey O'Gorman prior to being confirmed as an MIC cast member, and obviously Casey appeared on Chelsea a few season back. Chuggs also shared a brief romance with Tina Stinnes, another Love Island turned Made in Chelsea babe.

Obviously, he also fits all the prerequisite for being a King's Road chap; posh, looks like he plays rugby, has a nickname no one really understands, etc.

As if that wasn't enough, Chuggs was snapped on holiday with Tristan Phipps and David 'Temps' Templer, who were clearly filming for the upcoming series.

Sure enough, when the press pack was released, Chuggs was unveiled alongside the likes of Rhianna Collins and Arman Pouladian-Kari.

He also featured in the newly released trailer for series 30 and although some of Chuggs' mates are excited to see him on screen, some viewers are not.

His fellow dating show pal Liam Reardon commented on the trailer for the new series with some support for Chuggs.

'Let’s go 🔥🔥🍿 @chuggswallis,' he wrote, but apparently not everyone agrees with the Welsh reality TV star.

'He's boring he didn't make an impact last time,' someone replied, with another commenting, 'Why is Chuggs there he is so dull.'

But the former Islander took the shade in his stride as he replied to the second comment calling him, 'dull' with a jokey read.

'Norty Nikki!'

There is something seriously entertaining about a reality TV calling out 'fans' on social media, especially when it's clearly in jest and especially when it's a Made in Chelsea cast member.

Someone else threw major shade at Chuggs, but this time it was his love life and flirting skills that came under fire.

'Please tell me @chuggswallis doesn't try to pull into anyone this time around,' a follower wrote.

And how did Chuggs reply? With sass of course.

'Lean in king,' he simply commented.
