She rose to fame on Made in Chelsea in 2014, spending her days frequenting the bars of West London, sipping champagne at glitzy events and partying with her cast members into the early hours. But over a decade on and life is very different for Tiffany Watson, who is now mum to 18-month-old son Jude with husband Cameron McGeehan and has another baby on the way.
Back on the show, Tiff’s turbulent relationship with then-boyfriend Sam Thompson dominated the show before their final split in 2017. She married footballer Cameron in 2020 and a year later opened up on the show about the tragic miscarriage she suffered. She had little Jude two years later, eight months before big sister Lucy welcomed her own son Willoughby and now tells heat how she’s over the moon to be expecting baby number two, as well as reflecting back on her MIC days…
Congratulations on your exciting baby news. How are you feeling?
Very happy and very blessed. We found out the gender on Christmas day – that was so fun. I will be revealing that, and the name, in the next few weeks. We argued a lot about names, and if it was a boy Cameron wanted to name the baby after his old Pug dog he had – and I said absolutely not. But I think we finally agreed on one we both like. I keep a list on my phone of all the names I like!
You gave birth to your son Jude in 2023 - was it always your plan to have another child?
You have no control on these things, as I found out. But my husband is a very hands-on dad and has four siblings, so he always wanted loads of kids. The main thing is we wanted Jude to have a sibling and not be alone. I feel very lucky and blessed that I have another one on the way.
Is Lucy over the moon?
Yes, she had a premonition! On my birthday in November she said to me I had a dream about you being pregnant. Then when I told her about the news on Christmas Day – she just laughed and said, ‘I knew you were pregnant.’ It was very sweet really.
Your relationship with Sam Thompson became a huge storyline on MIC – was that a difficult part of your life to share?
Looking back, it was really intense. Sharing the ups and downs of my relationship with Sam was really hard. Our relationship wasn’t healthy or functional in any form. I was very young then – now I know it was just all too much, and I shouldn’t have let our relationship play out on screen in the way it did. It became all too intrusive. The reason I stepped away was because I was so stressed with the breakup, and I couldn’t face filming with Sam or be near his friends. I needed a full-on break.
Do you and Sam still keep in touch?
I haven’t seen Sam since 2021, at Lucy’s wedding. He’s met my husband and there’s no bad blood between us now, so if we met in the street we would of course talk. I had met with Zara socially and we chat on social media. I don’t even know whether its true Sam and Zara have actually broken up – its all a little confusing. But I hope Sam finds happiness.
Do you have plans to go back on MIC?
I’d consider going back because I am older now. I’m married and in a much better place. Also, a lot of my friends are still on the show, so it would make sense, once I have had the baby, to go back. In a way it was part of my life, part of my growing up – and it’s a hard show to leave.
What are your plans for the future – once you have had the baby of course - do you want to do other reality TV shows?
I would love to do other shows! If they do another Beyond Chelsea spin off, I’d consider that because again, I would be doing it with friends for the original MIC. People like Liv and Binky are still part of my life. I also talk to Ollie quite a lot and thankfully now he is in a happy place with his twins – and he went through a lot with his struggles with IVF, so he deserves this happiness.
