Gemma Collins has taken to social media to let fans know that she will be releasing her first single together with an iconic Celebrity Big Brother co-star just in time for Christmas.

The former TOWIE star shared a photo of herself and fellow CBB housemate Darren Day on Instagram earlier this week alongside the caption, " I am SO EXCITED to let you know that my Christmas song is now on PRE - ORDER!

"I hope you love it as much as me!!"

Jake Hall, series 14 -17

Jake's time on TOWIE was mainly characterised by his on / off relationship with Chloe Lewis and his alleged cheating on her. He finally (sort of) confessed that he'd done the dirty with Megan McKenna in a very emosh scene on a park bench. Ah, precious memories.

Yes, Darren Day aka the "I'm claustrophobic Darren," and together the pair will be singing a cover of Frank Loesser's 1949 hit Baby It's Cold Outside.

Explaining that the single is being released in collaboration with mental health awareness charity It's OK not to be OK, Gemma said, "I wanted to do something fun and fabulous for you all for charity as it’s been a tough year for all, I hope this spreads some cheer and warmth in your hearts ♥️."

Awww, Gemma ❤️.

We can't wait to blast this banger from the inside of our shower like Zooey Deschanel in Elf (an iconic scene).

Darren gave fans a sneak peak of the Christmas single back in November when he filmed the pair recording.

The 52 year old shared a clip of Gemma in a glam dress singing into a tinsel covered microphone while he joined in from a socially distant two metres away.

Gemma, of course, appeared to be putting her GC spin on the classic, singing "Honey, I f--ked up the words," but, we must admit we were wowed by her singing voice. Who knew, eh?

Gemma and Darren's new single, which they're both hoping will be a Christmas number one, is available to pre-order on Spotify, Amazon and iTunes now.
