Hell hath no fury like a dumped Love Island bombshell following their exit from the show. That's how the saying goes, right?
Step forward Spencer Wilks, who lasted a heady ten days in the villa before his unpopularity with viewers saw him in the bottom three, and his not-being-Kai Fagan saw him (and Aaron Waters) being axed from the show.
Spenny believes he had much more to give on the show, and, when asked about his...umm....potential with absolute WORLDIE Tanyel Revan, said, "Sexual attraction was definitely there. I think she fancied me, too. We did vibe but I think it got cut short."
And, while his time on the show was characterised by his chill, he has burned a popular villa couple on his way out: Will 'farmer Will' Young and Jessie 'runner up on Australian Love Island' Wynter.
When asked which couples he rates, speaking of Will and Jessie he said that altough he thought they'd last until the end of the show, he didn't know "how they’ll fare outside of the villa." Which is completely fair, tbh. And also echoes the thoughts of another dumped Love Island star...
A fresh series of Love Island guarantees an exciting few weeks for us here at heat; not just because we have an excuse to turn down social events LITERALLY every night, but because we get to invite dumped Islanders to our studio for a tea-spilling session.
For the winter edition of Love Island, we're doing this in the form of our heat dates series which means 🔥🔥🔥 tea on the regs.
The first episode of our new series was hosted by our very own Harriet Rose and starred the most recent stars to be dumped from the Island, David Salako and Anna-May Robey and we'd like to thank them for spilling the 🔥🔥🔥 tea with virtually zero encouragement.
Take this tidbit for example; while discussing her close friendship with Farmer Will (real name Will Young), Anna-May shared her views on his whirlwind romance with bombshell Jessie Wynter.
When asked whether the bombshell from Down Under (who, to play devil's advocate, we low-key adore by the way) was a good match for him, Anna-May said, "Do you know what? I'm not sure.
"I feel like they do like each other, but Jessie's done it before. Jessie came in and didn't really give the boys a chance – she just went straight to Will that night."
Again not to play devil's advocate, but we would do EXACTLY the same because the boy is literally light of ALL our lives.
She continued, "I think she knows everybody loves him and I think he could've been a safe option."
David was nodding in agreement so hard we had to take a cheeky Pepto-Bismol, FYI, and we have to say, so were we 🫣.
As were countless TikTok users, apparently. One fan commented, "This makes so much sense."
Another added, "What I've been saying."
As we're dead serious journalists, it would only be fair to share a few counter comments from absolute Will and Jessie stans. One wrote, "Will is amazing... why would she not be interested in him?"
Another commented, "As an Aussie gal I love Farmer Will, he is funny and he is also blonde hair blue eyes surfy looking type and Aussie girls love that."
We're suddenly in immediate need of a TikTok compilation video of Will falling off a surfboard.
