After the usual Love Island villa antics, which saw Lana Jenkins and Ron Hall get together, split up, and then reunite, it’s no wonder fans are worried what Casa Amor might mean for the pair. And viewers seem particularly worried that Lana might be set for heartbreak.
After she ditched self-confessed “nice guy” Casey O’Gorman for bad boy Ron, viewers have expressed doubts that the lovebirds will survive a Casa Amor separation.
Posting on Twitter, one fan predicted, “Ron is gonna go to Casa Amor and have his head turned.” While another shared, “Lana is choosing to be heartbroken by following Ron!”
Despite warnings from fellow islanders – including Samie Elishi and Tom Clare – Lana chose to give financial advisor Ron another chance. But her backtracking left many unimpressed, with some viewers slamming her treatment of Casey.
One fan tweeted, “After applauding Lana, she went crawling back to Ron at lightning speed. When she’s heartbroken after Casa, I think the sympathy will be severely lacking.”
And it isn’t just viewers who are wary. Speaking on heat Dates, dumped islander Zara Deniz Lackenby-Brown shared that she was “really rooting” for Lana and Casey, and wasn’t too sure that coupling with Ron again will result in a happy ending.
When asked about whether the pair will last, Zara revealed, “I don’t think so. If he’s getting that distracted in the villa, how is he going to be on the outside?
“Lana’s gorgeous, but she’s allowing too much. I think when you allow too much, they think they can get away with anything at that point. You’ve got to stand your ground.”
