We’re not going to lie, we’re very appreciative that Married At First Sight UK came into our lives right after Love Island ended last month. Especially at the end of summer (where all we’re thinking about is pumpkin spiced lattes and pre-ordering advent calendars).
It’s certainly been a wild ride so far, from Nikita Jasmine being booted off the show for bad behaviour to Megan Wolfe kissing Jordan Mundell behind husband Bob Veysey’s back – but we don’t think anything prepared us for two couples leaving the experiment.
In Tuesday’s show, both Megan and Bob and Alexis Economou and Ant Poole agreed to leave the E4 reality series after “traumatic experiences” and failing to find a connection with each other.
But now in the real world, away from the strict rules that are placed on the couples in the experiment – like not being able to follow each other on Instagram – the two couples have now spoken out about their experience months on.

Taking to Instagram to share a cute photo of himself and Megan, Bob wrote, “Well what can I say…. What a journey me and @meganwolfeinsta had. We laughed, we cried (mostly me) but the main thing is we left at the right time. I gave this process everything I had and I don’t really regret a thing. The love and support I have had from so many different people is absolutely amazing and I thank every single person who has messaged me in some capacity. Thank you @e4grams @channel4 @e4mafsuk for giving me the opportunity to meet Mrs Bob.
"I had a great time overall and I will continue to sing horrendously at Karaoke and do hand stands in swimming Pools. I thank every member of the cast and production for the whole journey and all last and not least my family and friends who have supported me endlessly. This is Bob out. Good night everyone ❤️.”
Megan also shared a number of photographs to Instagram documenting her time on the show, with the caption, “So much love & respect for the whole MAFS cast & crew. I’ve gained lessons and friends for life. Thank you @e4mafsuk @e4grams for a wild experience.
