I tried Amazon’s best-selling foot peel (and even Kim Kardashian is a fan)

The results are incred 👏🏻

Lockdown 2.0 has made me 100 per cent more lethargic and I just haven't been giving my body the proper pampering it needs. Buffing and exfoliating my feet is nottt what I want to be doing after a long day working and, erm, my feet have been getting nasty.

Ok, they're not actually that bad, but they have not been high-heel ready, to say the least.

Enter Tony Moly Super Peeling Liquid.

I saw Kim Kardashian using a foot peel on Instagram a few weeks back and the results looked INCREDIBLE. She said her brother, Rob Kardashian, gave it to her (interesting present idea, but we'll run with it) and showed fans clips of all the dead skin on her feet peeling off.

The clips were a bit grim, not going to lie, but they did their PR job and I just knew I had to get my hands on this foot peel.

^Those look like some hella exfoliated tootsies.

What foot peel does Kim Kardashian use?

Much to my dismay, Kim didn't actually leave a swipe up link on her Instagram Stories (how rude?), so I had to get researching to find the next best foot peel going.

Big shout out to YouTube's The Anna Edit, who came through with the goods and recommended the Tony Moly Super Peeling liquid in one of her vlogs. And, it's an Amazon Prime product. Praise be.

How does a foot peeling liquid work?

The Tony Moly foot peel works by using AHA and BHAs (like glycolic and salicylic acid) to painlessly exfoliate away the dead skin on the soles of your feet.

You put each of your feet into a little foot-shaped bin bag (classy), pour in the peeling liquid and tie up the bags so none spills out. Then, looking like a knock-off version of Cinderella in her glass slippers, you just let the acids do their work for around an hour to an hour and a half, remove the bags and rinse your feet, and then, in around four to six days, all the dead skin on your feet will begin to peel away.

Yummy.

Do foot peels actually work?

While I can't guarantee baby-soft skin for all, for me, these things did 👏their 👏job👏. On around day six, I started to notice the tough, dry skin around my heels and big toe had begun to fall away and by maybe day ten, the majority of hard, rough patches on my feet were gone.

Tony Moly state on their packaging that you should NOT peel the skin away yourself once it starts to fall away but, towards the end of the process, I did give my feet one final buff with a foot file to nudge the process to a close.

All in all, I would recommend these, big time. Plus, they come with a tiny foot cream sample with Argan oil to help keep your feet even softer after the peel has done its work.

My overall rating? 4.5/5 - just because walking around in glorified bin bags is not a good look...
