Emma is a Style Writer at Bauer Media UK and specialises in all things fashion and beauty. Whilst black-on-black clothing and dark smoky-eye make-up is her go-to aesthetic, her music taste leaves many confused. “Alexa, play Taylor Swift’s greatest hits”.
After studying Fashion Buying and Design, Emma started out as an e-commerce fashion stylist, before heading to London, where some of her career highlights include dressing models at Fashion Week, styling talent on the set of music videos and being part of the wardrobe team on the last-ever season of X-Factor. Prior to joining Bauer, Emma held positions at OK! Mag, New! Mag, The Mirror and The Express where she developed her skills as a writer.
Although she sounds like a fashion-girly at heart, hair and make-up was her first love, having spent years perfecting her contour technique, mastering the mermaid wave or trying to fake a fuller brow. Otherwise, you'll find her binge-watching crime docs or lifting heavy stuff. Any hair questions, she's your gal. After all, she's tried every cut and colour going – wolf cut, extensions, blue dip-dye, scalp bleach – the lot!
