Love Island 2018 star Adam Collard has gone where no other Islander has gone before - back to the villa that made him famous four years after first causing carnage as one of the most memorable bombshells in history. And even though we've got a serious case of de ja vu, we can't help but think he's not the same Adam we witnessed four years ago.
Fans of the show have also noticed that Adam is focused on a path of redemption, as he's coming across as COMPLETELY different to his first stint on the show. He's currently coupled up with Paige Thorne, who he made a beeline for as soon as he re-entered the villa following her heartbreaking romance with Jacques O'Neill, who quit the villa just days after Adam made his interest in Paige clear.
In fact, he's looking like an angel compared to the likes of Luca Bishand Dami Hope, which is a sentence we never, ever, thought we would write. Even the girls in the villa agree, as the majority of them chose to snog him in the 'Snog, Marry, Pie' challenge because, quoting Paige, they 'wouldn't want to lipse anyone else'.
Even though Adam could have changed, a recent revelation from dumped Islander Antigoni Buxton may have proved that he's still a player deep down, as he was straight in her Instagram DMs as soon as she got back to Blighty.
Antigoni, who recently appeared onheat's Under The Duvet, revealed that Adam followed her just days after she left the villa after seeing her on a mutual friends feed.
She told OK!, "There was a photo of me on my friend's Instagram the other day. And he replied to it calling me fit and then followed me!"
Adam's comeback has sent social media into a frenzy, with even his former co-stars commenting on his return.
“It’s demon time 😂,” Josh Denzel wrote on Instagram when the news broke, while Laura Anderson commented, “I screamed at the tv 🙈 this has never happened 😂😂.”
Some weren't as excited about his return, though, including dumped Casa Amor bombshell Jazmine Nichol, who recently let slip that Adam is best pals with her ex-boyfriend and they do not get on. Lucky they never came face to face in the main villa, right?
Speaking on the Murad Merali podcast, Jazmine said, “Me and him didn’t get on. I was 19 when I was with my first boyfriend and he was 24 at the time.
“He used to use my age against us and be like, ‘You can do so much better than Jaz. She’s not that fit, she’s not that funny, she doesn’t bring anything to the table’. He would slate me at my young age to be like, ‘You’re this, you’re that’ and kind of put us in a box.
“It was just really nasty and I didn’t like that at all. He’s just not a very respectful man.”
