If Love Island producers aren't sending exes into the villa then they're sending in someone who is somehow linked to a past Islander and series 11 was no different.
As it turns out that Ayo Odukoya already knew two Islanders before the villa and now he's spoken out about exchanging DMs with one of them.
Ahead of his villa stint, Ayo told producers that he already knew Love Island 2021's Toby Aromolaran and Love Island 2023's Tyrique Hyde.
“I know a few people, like Toby is someone I played football with back in the day so, that’s someone I knew, and Tyrique and his little brother – I know him," he admitted.
So of course, we had to grill Ayo when he popped into heat's Towers and he admitted that he's already got plans with Toby and Tyrique.
"I've been in the DMs with Toby. I've known since I was 18 or something like that, we were kicking ball together.
"We've always been cool he's like proper good friend," he admitted.
Ayo then added, "[With] Tyrique I was closer to his little brother, but I've met him before, and he's a cool guy.
"We're just gonna chop it proper soon, but yeah, proper cool people."
We're going to need to see a full night out with these three on Instagram or Snapchat.
Did someone say iconic trio? We think so.
And Ayo isn't the only one with famous connections from this series; Harriett Blackmore is besties with Saffron Barker, Omar Nyame is pals with Stormzy and Joey Essex is, well, Joey Essex.
So what we're getting from all of this is that you need to know someone famous to get on the show.
First things first befriend an Islander and then Love Island 2025, here we come.
