ICYMI, the line-up of Love Island legends returning to the villa for the second series of All Stars was revealed earlier today and although there were some names we expected to see – like Ronnie Vint and Olivia Hawkins – there were also a couple of surprises.

One Islander that had us doing a double take was Love Island 2019 and Love Island Games star Curtis Pritchard because he very much had a girlfriend last time we checked.

However, it’s now been revealed that Curtis secretly split from Sophie Sheridan – who he first met in 2021 while starring in a pantomime production of Cinderella – just a few months before the All Stars cast was announced.

According to reports, Curtis ended his relationship with Sophie towards the end of last year and the pair have deleted all evidence of their relationship and unfollowed each other after sharing a series of loved up snaps throughout their time together.

‘Curtis split from Sophie a few months ago after the pair decided they were better off as friends,’ a source revealed.

‘The romance had run its course and Curtis couldn't see the relationship going any further.’

The insider told The Sun, ‘It came at the right time, as Love Island bosses were also desperate to get him back on the show for All Stars. When Curtis was approached by bosses, he jumped at the chance of returning.

‘He's newly single and loves being on telly, so getting the chance to be back in the villa and to find love again was a no brainer. He loved doing Love Island first time around and now that he's single it's come at a great time for him.’

It’s been six years since Curtis first found fame on the ITV2 show and his first villa stint was quite the rollercoaster. He first coupled up with Amy Hart but had his head turned by Casa Amor bombshell Jourdan Riane, which broke Amy’s heart and she quit the villa.

Curtis then, of course, caught the eye of Maura Higgins and they made it all the way to the final. The pair continued their relationship after finishing the series in fourth place but split less than a year later.
