Goodness, what a terrible time to be in a Love Island relationship; it seems that 2024 is the year that couples who met on the dating show are calling time on their romance.
The latest split comes from All Stars finalists Georgia Steel and Toby Aromolaran. The duo had a summer fling during their time on Love Island Games and rekindled the romance on the All Stars spin-off where they ended finishing coming in fourth place.
But it was a short lived romance as Georgia took to her Instagram account yesterday (Wednesday 20 March) to confirm that her and the Love Island 2021 bombshell were no more.
Georgia told her followers, "After seeing the reports regarding my relationship with Toby I feel it's only right for me to be transparent and truthful with you all. It is true Toby has called things off. It has taken me by complete surprise and I'm still trying to process it and come to terms with it all. They say some people are in your life for a lifetime and some just for a chapter ❤️."
After confessing that she was "taken by surprise" we all knew there was no way on God's green earth that Toby was going to be able to keep schtum about the break-up.
What is surprising however is that Toby kept his jibe rather subtle and responded to somebody's question on Snapchat.
No shade, but we didn't know anyone over the age of 22 still used Snapchat, but it turns out that if you are a reality TV star it's still a thing.
One of his snapchat pals asked, "Anything to comment on Georgia's post 👀?"
Toby not only uploaded a selfie where he is clearly rolling his eyes (LOL) but simply wrote, "Na, I'm cool."
Short and sweet. Just like Georgia. Too soon to joke?
Toby and Georgia are the first of the All Stars final four to confirm they're no longer an item with winners Tom Clare and Molly Smith recently confirming they're now officially girlfriend and boyfriend.
