They are easily one of Love Island's most wholesome couples, so literally everybody was thrilled for Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan when they announced their engagement last spring.

After winning the winter series in 2023, Kai and Sanam have gone from strength. They both returned to their day jobs and dabbled in the world of influencing before officially tying to the knot earlier this month.

Obviously, they had a stunning ceremony and they both looked gorge on their big day. The pair were surrounded by their nearest and dearest, but only ONE of their fellow Islanders received an invite to the wedding.

Chatting about who did and did and didn't make the guest list, Kai admitted, 'We only had 60 guests. Looking around, we realised every single person there had a genuine, close relationship with us.'

So, which of their dating show pals managed to be invited to the Love Island wedding of the year?

That honour went to Ron Hall.

'We just don’t have friends from the show like that,' Kai told OK! when it was revealed that only Ron made the cut, 'That’s just how life goes.'

To be fair, we aren't sure who we thought the newlyweds would invite from their time in the South African villa. Obviously it wasn't going to be Olivia Hawkins, but we also didn't expect it to be her fellow All Star.

Ron did join Kai and Sanam in the final, as he came in second place alongside now ex-girlfriend Lana Jenkins. The couple split three months after the show came to an end.

Kai and Sanam tend to keep to themselves and they aren't particularly present in the world of PR events, influencer night outs or press trips.

Having said that, judging from his social media, Kai does enjoy a round of golf and we know that Ron does as well. Perhaps they have a bond over clubs, courses and caddies.

WATCH: So as it turns out, Love Island's Dejon and Gio never spoke about their famous relatives in the villa 👀
