Oh, we just love it when a Made in Chelsea star dishes the dirt about their time on the show.

OG MIC Spencer Matthews previously revealed details about his experience as London's favourite lothario (back when Miles Nazaire was just a high schooler) and he wasn't entirely positive about it all.

Both Lucy Watson and Millie Mackintosh have also opened up about what life on the Kings Road is REALLY like, with Millie going as far as to say some of it was "pretend" and that she "hated" filming.

Now another former cast member is spilling the tea about her fleeting visit to the world of MIC and it's all very dramatic.

Having taken part in Married At First Sight Australia, Ella May Ding was no stranger to the world of reality TV when she shared a dalliance with Miles last year and although the Aussie claims she didn't know he was on MIC when they dated, Ella ended up starring in a few episodes.

As a guest on the Back to Reality podcast, which is hosted by Ella's MAFS pal Selina Chhaur and Love Island Australia star Taku Chimwaza, Ella chatted about what really went down during her trip to SW3 and just how real (or should we say unreal?) Made in Chelsea is.

Chatting about filming alongside Miles and co, Ella admitted, "I got picked up from airport, I wasn't allowed to see him, we tried, we wanted to meet before camera but then we didn't."

This gives us the impression that the MIC producers wanted Ella and Miles first physical interaction caught on camera as Ella revealed earlier on in the interview that she and Miles had "FaceTimed for five hours for about six weeks" but hadn't yet met in real life.

"I went straight to set, the weirdest thing ever as soon as I sat down he was acting."

Ouch. It turns out it wasn't just Miles that was "acting" as Ella couldn't wrap her head around the "reality" element of Made in Chelsea - or lack thereof.

"This doesn't look like reality, it looks like a movie," she declared about the show, "This is not reality."

"But I still had to stay there for another week and film with him and it was a f**king nightmare," she added, "We had to reenact ending it."

Nothing quite like having to film your break up scene countless times because somebody's make up isn't quite right or perhaps there weren't enough tears.

"We had to re-do it three times and I'm like this is so bad," Ella went on, "It was so cringe."

Made in Chelsea cites itself as a 'structured reality' show which we gather is a smart way of saying, "This is kinda real but also kinda isn't..."
