Honestly, hats off to Married at First Sight expert Mel Schilling because not only does she have to deal with the UK cast but also has to sort out the love lives of the always chaotic Aussie bunch too.
To be fair the relationship coach does have over twenty years of experience under her belt, and we imagine not much will shock her anymore. Still, we don’t quite know how she so calmly dealt with some guy explaining why he told a groom ‘muzzle your woman.’

Patience of a saint, our Mel.
heatworld managed to have quick catch up with the love expert during her red carpet walk at the BAFTAs where we asked her what she felt the difference between the Australian and UK cast.
‘A lot of people find that the Aussies are more unfiltered,’ Mel revealed.
Unfiltered is an, ahem, interesting way of wording it, the likes of Harrison Boon and Jack Dunkley sure do have a way with words and did make for gasp-worthy telly.

‘But you know what I find? I’ve found that, five seasons in the UK,’ she went on, ‘and I feel like I’m getting so much more of that real authentic openness from the Brits.’
Aw look at the UK bunch opening-up and being their vulnerable selves on the daunting couples couch.
Mel isn’t the only member of the MAFS relationship panel that must tackle two romance reality TV shows. Her colleague Paul C Brunson is also an expert on Celebs Go Dating where he has come face to face with the likes of Made in Chelsea star Ollie Locke, TOWIE's Chloe Borckett and even Kerry Katona.

The 2025 series will see Paul try and help Love Island girlie Olivia Hawkins who is on the lookout for love as well as surprise late entry, MIC’s resident troublemaker, Sam Prince.
What was that Mel was saying bout the Aussie’s being more unfiltered?
