Married at First Sight UK is unmatched when it comes to twists, drama and arguments, don't believe us? All you need to do it watch five mins of MAFS UK 2023 or even the Aussie version and you will see we are speaking pure facts.

With that in mind, to say we are buzzing about this year's series of Married At First Sight is the understatement of the century.

So without further ado here is everything you need to know about the current series of MAFS.

Who is in the MAFS UK 2024 line-up?

Bristolian Emma runs a blog entitled, 'Man of the Month’, which follows her encounters with a different man each month however the sales manager is yet to have a serious relationship and is now hoping to find 'someone who is passionate and ambitious.'

Sacha Jones, 29, aesthetics practitioner, Birmingham

'A red flag to me is someone not liking cats. I was always told to never trust a man that doesn’t like cats.'

Kickboxer Sacha has had one long term relationship which lasted three years and has been single for the past nine months with the decision to become celibate. Now the 'daddy's girl' is hoping to find someone, 'funny, loyal who loves cats.'

'I wanted to sign up because I felt like I was ready to meet the love of my life.'

Animal lover Kristina has had two serious relationships and is now on the look out for a 'tall, dark, cheeky chappy' and someone who is 'fun and can match her energy levels.'

Kristina also suffers from PMDD [premenstrual dysphoric disorder] and is hoping 'to meet someone who can support her and accept her.'

Eve Reid, 30, fitness instructor, Omagh

'I want to find somebody that I fall in love with and I want somebody to fall in love with me.'

Eve's first relationship was with a man and the fitness guru nearly ended up getting married but after coming out at 26, Eve has had one serious romance. She is now looking for The One and is hoping for a girl who is hard-working and motivated.

'I want to gain love, work on myself as well, and learn how to trust again.'

Mum of two Holly has no problem landing dates but has struggled to, 'build a genuine and lasting connection.'

After a few serious relationships the northerner 'just wants the simple things in life and to be treated well.'

Charlie Curtis, 30, lettings operations co-ordinator, Surrey

'I’m at the age now where I want to settle down.'

After coming out as gay when she was 25, Charlie ended up navigating a few situationships and has been single for the past four years. She is hoping the experts can help her work out what's missing and find someone with 'heaps of energy.'

'It’d be nice to, when I look back at my life when I’m older, say I’ve had a once in a lifetime experience.'

Richelle currently splits her time between Guyana and London as wants to find someone who is 'funny, fit, tall, driven, successful and financially independent.' Don't we all?

Polly Sellman, 28, careers advisor, Kent

'I’m excited to go into the unknown, to have things that aren’t in my control and to just go into it open minded.'

Although she has been single for the past six years, Polly's longest relationship lasted for seven and seeing as she has 'rejected' the idea of dating apps, Polly is hoping to find a husband on MAFS.

Although she identifies as 'serial dater' Lacey has been single for the past four years after the end of her ten year relationship.

The office manager is now after someone who has banter, emotional intelligence and can make her laugh.

Sionainn is an intruder on series nine and has revealed that she still sucks her thumb - something she thinks her husband 'might not like'.

'I would be the perfect wife because I feel like I've been giving out wifey energy to boys that don't deserve it'

Hannah is another intruder and is hoping to marry a man who is 'strong, keen and ready to keep up with her energy.'

'I think my best quality is that I’m spontaneous and I have a lust for life.'

While Amy has history with 2023 groom Arthur Poremba, she's applied for MAFS series eight looking for The One.

'I would love the happily ever after.'

Adam confesses that he has never been in love before or even found someone he can see a future with but that may well be down to his high standards.

Although he is ready for romance he is concerned he will never find The One, let's hope the love experts can help him out.

The gym bro is on a mission to 'rid himself of his ‘man about town’ reputation and find a 'stable relationship.'

Alex has been single for seven months and wants his new partner to have depth but can also keep him on his toes.

Caspar Todd, 34, head gardener, New Forest

'I want the wife. I want the 2-4 kids, white picket fence. I hope this process does this for me.'

Gardener Caspar left London in order to follow a career in nature and now lives in New Forest with his two dogs.

Caspar has never had a serious relationship but said he is now ready to fall in love and step out of his comfort zone.

'I’ve been unlucky in love. I’ve been heartbroken and messed around and I really need the experts’ advice.'

Class clown Kieran is an ACTUAL clown, as in, the Geordie lad joined the circus to train as a funnyman but now works as a mechanic.

Living in a caravan with his dog Hugo, Kieran is looking for a petite brunette who loves music and is also ambitious and spontaneous.

Nathan Campbell, 25, engineer, Somerset

'It will be cool to meet someone. Hopefully we’re on the same vibe.'

Manufacturing engineer Nathan is 'tired of dating gym bunnies and models' and is looking for someone he can start a big family with.

He has rather specific requirements and is after someone who is 'petite, funny, family oriented and someone with traditional family values.'

'I want to get married as I feel that is the only thing missing from my life.'

Former cricketeer Orson wants to 'make a deeper connection' with someone and is looking for somebody open and spontaneous. Orson also has a two year old daughter and hopes his future partner will be family orientated with strong family values.

Mancunian Ross has had three serious relationships and has been single for the past three years. He has his fingers crossed that the love experts will match him with someone with 'banter, who is easy to communicate with and has strong family values.'

Stephen is an intruder groom and is hoping to find love although he did tell producer, 'Something I do that my wife might not like is call people out on their bullsh-t behaviour.'

Ryan is another intruder and judging by his quote above, he's an honest man. He also warned producers, 'I'm not domesticated but I have got a couple of things I can bring to the table, something that I do is play PS5 quite a lot.'

Luke Debono, 30, prison education manager, Malta

'The UK is my wife but Malta is my mother'

Intruder Luke was born in Malta but moved to the UK in 2015. He told producers exactly why he's ready for marriage, 'I'm fun, I like to get jiggy with it, and I can have deep conversations.'

Have any MAFS UK 2024 couples split?

Although the series is still airing, it turns out that some of the couples have already split after eagle-eyed fans have spotted some contestants with their rumoured new partners.

When did MAFS UK 2024 start?

MAFS series nine returned on Monday 16 September.

Returning for another year of dishing out relationship advice and harsh truths will be experts Melanie SchillingPaul C. Brunson and Charlene Douglas.

Where can I watch MAFS UK 2024?

You can watch the show on E4, Mondays through Thursdays every week, but sadly there's no episodes on Fridays through Sundays. Even we need a break sometimes.

What time is MAFS UK 2024 on?

MAFS is on weekdays (excluding Fridays) on E4 at 9pm.

How long does MAFS UK film for?

The cast film the show over an eight-week period. During that time, the couples live together and have no contact with their friends and family aside from the family visit episode. This might help explain some of the questionable behaviours and decisions of the contestants.
