It’s no secret that a stint on Love Island can be the start of a lucrative reality TV career. Just look at Olivia Attwood who went on to star in TOWIE before bagging her own show Olivia Meets Her Match, or Megan Barton-Hanson who has appeared on the likes of Celebs Go Dating and Celeb Ex in the City since rising to fame in the villa.
However, it turns out one of this year’s Islanders had already had a brush with reality telly fame before jetting off to Mallorca for a summer of love.
The Islander in question is none other than new boy Chuggs Wallis whose cameo appearance on Made in Chelsea has resurfaced after he entered the villa alongside fellow bombshell Liam Reardon.
Chuggs (which stands for ‘cuddles and hugs’, if you were wondering) popped up on the SW3-based show back in 2019.
The bucket hat entrepreneur appeared when some of the cast went speed dating, with his brief role being spotted by an eagle-eyed Love Island fan and uploaded to Twitter over the weekend.

Alongside a screengrab of Chuggs trying to charm a potential love interest, they wrote, “So Chuggs was on Made in Chelsea speed dating in 2019!”
We wouldn’t be surprised if the Surrey lad appeared on the E4 show again in the future, as he wouldn’t be the first Love Island star to make the move to Chelsea.
Not only did series four Islander Charlie Frederick appear on a recent series, where he had a brief but dramatic fling with Verity Bowditch, but Zara McDermott also famously starred on the show after she began dating Sam Thompson.

Chuggs isn’t the only current Islander with connections to Made in Chelsea though, as Aaron Francis revealed he’s related to Hugo Taylor before entering the villa.
The luxury events host admitted that while he’s not that close to Hugo, who is expecting a second child with his wife and former co-star Millie Mackintosh, seeing his cousin on TV has given him an idea of how to navigate his newfound fame.
Aaron told The Daily Star, “Hugo is my cousin. I haven't seen him in a while. We aren't that close. But if I ever wanted to ask him for advice, I could. I'm quite close to his dad, too."
"Being related to Hugo and seeing what life is like for him means I can gauge what it is like to be on a TV show."
