The date of this year's Love Island final has just been announced, but one Islander missed out on making it to the end is bombshell Martin Akinola.
Since he landed back in merry ole’ England, Martin has been spilling tea left, right and centre on all the dramz from inside the villa.
Chatting on the most recent episode of heat Dates, Martin came clean on who he would have picked in the Snog, Marry, Pie challenge and while some answers were obvious, others knocked us for six.
“I would snog Tanya just because I’m petty," he said. Frankly, an absolutely iconic response from the guy who enjoyed Movie Night more than anybody else.
We can imagine Shaq Muhammad would have pulled a muscle in his jaw from clenching it so hard had Martin tongued Tanya Manhenga again.
The bombshell went on to say he would have picked a certain Australian for another option as he added, “Marry… probably Jessie. She’s a lovely girl.”
Ah well, it's nice to see Jessie Wynter receiving a little bit of support from an Islander after the absolute horror show of a recent episode when half the villa decided to turn on her amid a minor row with Casey O'Gorman.
Olivia Hawkins and Maxwell Samuda went all Regina George on the Aussie as they gossiped behind her back and branded her "disingenuine" - which is not a real word, FYI.
We assume Liv means disingenuous but, alas, we are not able to fly over to South Africa and correct her and apparently no one else in the villa is aware the ring girl lowkey just made up a word.
Anyway, Tanya and Jessie are not the most surprising of choices but who would Martin would pie from the ladies we hear you ask?
The Irishman admitted, “I would probably pie Lana or Samie.”
A rogue response from the bombshell as, although Samie Elishi DID receive the most pies during the challenge, we all know it’s because the Love Island lads couldn’t be dealing with the tears and tantrums had they picked Liv.
Don't come for us, we've just said what everyone else was thinking.
As for Lana Jenkins, the blonde didn't seem to spend that much time with Martin during his stint but he was more than happy to offer up a valid reason for his choices.
He explained, “You know the challenge we had they said that I was the least trustworthy.”
Ah, THAT.
“Yes, so I am going to pie one of them," he continued before acknowledging, “To be fair I barely spoke to them.”
