There’s only one week left of Love Island, but the drama is hotter than ever.
Not only are half of the villa convinced that Ron Hall is playing a game, but frankly, we’re still reeling from Movie Night after Shaq Muhammad stormed out of the villa broke down in tears before Tom Clare came out to comfort him.
Viewers were led to believe that Shaq cried in frustration over his girlfriend Tanya Manhenga’s Casa Amor romance with Martin Akinola, but Martin has now revealed that that wasn’t the case.
In a new interview, Martin exposed an unaired row with Shaq and admitted that’s what caused the OG boy to cry.
The Casa Amor bombshell explained how viewers didn’t get to see that another clip titled ‘There’s Something About Martin’ aired on Movie Night. In the video, Martin compared himself to a “five star meal”, while Shaq was compared to a “two star meal”, which led the two men clashing.
Speaking on the Reality with Will Njobvu podcast, Martin revealed how he’d pulled Shaq for a chat after they watched the video and told him, “Listen, I’ve got four points to tell you. Number one, your girl was gone within five minutes of our first conversation.
“Number two, I told her she doesn’t love you and she didn’t agree or disagree with it. Number three, on the outside I would have f**ked your girl in ways you can’t imagine.”
Martin then explained it was his conversation with Shaq that led to him crying. He said, “You know he was crying that night and everyone thought he was crying because of what he saw on Movie Night. No, he was crying because of what I told him.”
Martin’s podcast interview quickly went viral online, with many taking to social media to slam him for his “disgusting” comments.
“So the REAL reason Shaq was crying is because Martin told him he could f**k Tanya on the outside??? Men are so entitled, it’s disgusting,” tweeted one Love Island fan.
Another added, “He’s so disrespectful,” while a third wrote, “It’s so disrespectful to talk about a situation when the people you’re talking about aren’t even able to speak on it. I’ll be interested to see their interviews and reactions to this when they come out…”
Something tells us we haven’t heard the last of this.
