Since Love Island (the regular version) started in 2015, ITV producers have had us hooked.
However series eight - aka Love Island 2022 - featured many heroes in our eyes including Ekin Su, Coco Lodge (and the iconic 'titgate' drama) and COVID-19 hero Ikenna Ekwonna.
We say hero because before he entered the villa, Ikenna worked in pharmaceutical sales and specialised COVID vaccine manufacturer AstraZeneca.
Ikenna joined Welsh paramedic Paige Thorne, model and dancer Tasha Ghouri, microbiologist Dami Hope and Gemma Owen on the eighth series of Love Island.

Ikenna is still pretty active on his socials, with over 220K Instagram followers and 190K followers on TikTok.
He also appeared on a Channel 4 documentary, Life After Love Island, shortly after he left the villa. At the time Ikenna revealed that he was making less than half of his salary before the reality show.
However, after the documentary aired, he tweeted, "This was filmed 2.5-3 months ago, I haven’t actually watched it yet but in a way better position rn".
Why did Ikenna Ekwonna go on Love Island?
Before entering the villa, he told Love Island producers that he's ready to try and find a girlfriend, "I’ve only been in one past relationship but now I think I’m at the age where I could find someone."
What is Ikenna Ekwonna's dating history like?
Turns out he likes to splash the cash, revealing that he took an ex on holiday when he was just 19, "I took my ex on holiday for her birthday. We went to Barcelona for four nights and I was pretty young then, maybe like 19-20. It was for her birthday so she didn’t know about it. It was quite a lot of money to spend for that age."
Although he sparked rumours that he may have had a fling with Paige following her split from Adam Collard, the pair never confirmed it.
