Bless those Love Island All Stars - love was seemingly scarce in that star-studded South African villa, wasn't it? Excluding Molly Smith and Tom Clare and Sophie Piper and Josh Ritchie, of course, who are just perfect specimens of young humanity. They’re both slowly redefining that old phrase 'power couple' and we can confirm both couples are inhumanly gorgeous and genuinely nice IRL, too. Scar was right, sometimes life’s just not fair.
But Molly and Tom and Sophie and Josh aside, Love Island: All Stars didn’t exactly launch a new legion of showbiz couples on to the scene. Soon after the show wrapped, Callum Jones and Jess Gale called it quits, as did Adam Maxted and Arabella Chi, and of course, Georgia Steel revealed that Toby Aromolaran ruthlessly chucked her just four weeks after the final. Ooft.
And then there's Georgia Harrison and Anton Danyluk; while many Islanders and fans have had their doubts about the authenticity of the All Stars couple since day one (we're looking at you Messy Mitch), Anton maintains they are still together, despite radio silence from Georgia, an array of cryptic social media posts and revealing that one of his fellow All Stars (not Georgia) has been lifting his spirits lately.
Anton recently took to his Instagram grid to share a few snaps of him and his villa bestie, Hannah Elizabeth, captioning the post, "Few days with the bestie always lifts the spirits ❤️ @hannahelizinsta."
As much as we adore seeing these two besties back together, we can't help but wonder, why do you need your spirits lifting, Anton?
The plot thickens when you scroll down the comments section and read the comment from Anton's entrepreneur mate, Elliot Wise, who writes, "Here for you mate. X," to which Anton replies, "@wiseelliot needed just now bro ❤️."
Anton and Elliot then shared a separate joint grid post together with the caption, "A gentleman will uphold his integrity no matter what adversity is thrown at him 🧐."
Yep, we're all thinking it.
Especially after Anton's most recent grid post is captioned, "When things appear to be falling over, step back and see the beauty in it 🙌."
We love us some Anton, so whatever's going on, we're just glad he's surrounding himself with gorgeous people like Hannah to keep his spirits high. You got this, boo.
Before returning to our TV screens, the fitness fanatic had previously called the decision to appear on All Stars a “no-brainer” and said how “getting the chance to do it twice is going to be unbelievable.”
Despite a few icks and bumps in the road, Anton and Georgia eventually coupled up and grew close in the Love Island: All Stars villa, finishing in fifth place and choosing to continue their relationship IRL – the rest, unfortunately, is tbc right now.
