Sometimes on Love Island, contestants just aren’t given enough time to shine. Love Island 2024’s Sam Taylor was booted from the villa in the blink of an eye and Shannon Singh only lasted a few hours back in Love Island 2021.
Enter Love Island All Stars, where stars like Joe Garrett and Arabella Chi were given a second chance at love and fame in the villa. Another Islander who took a second stab at love - or third, if you count Love Island Games - was the loyal babe herself, Georgia Steel.
Since it’s been announced that there will officially be a second series of All Stars, our obsession has been kicked into overdrive. So naturally, when we got a chance to sit down with Georgia, we wanted to talk about our favourite topic - All Stars.
Since Love Island has partnered with eBay, the looks have been even more out of this world, but so much of the process is still such a mystery to us. So, we asked Georgia if there were any downsides to being provided with cases full of pre-owned clothes and honestly, she gave us a response we didn't expect.
“Well, the eBay girls would laugh at me because when they were doing a drop I could only fit in the small sizes and obviously they have a variety of sizes. And they were really good with me actually because they knew I couldn't fit in a lot of the stuff, so they would actually go out and source me clothes in my size which was really lovely of them.
“The eBay girls were amazing… And they really looked after each individual. I remember I needed some more bikinis, so they brought me in some bikinis.”
While having a whole drop of gorgeous pre-owned clothes sounds like a dream, one downside we never expected is that there isn't unlimited sizing. Still, we'd choose that over fast fashion any day.
If Georgia was open to entering the villa for a fourth time - stranger things have happened, for example Joey Essex being a bombshell - then let’s hope the producers manage to scrounge up enough vintage bikinis.
Georgia Steel is currently partnering with Heart Bingo.
