Love Island’s Liberty Poole is officially loved-up with her boyfriend Joshua Raybould after they went public with their relationship earlier this year, so it was only right that we got them down to heat Towers to chat about their relationship.
The iconic Islander appeared on Love Island 2021, Love Island Games and All Stars, but failed to find the one for her. Luckily, Josh was waiting in the wings when she returned from South Africa and they’ve been together ever since.
And it seems that Josh is quickly integrating himself among Liberty’s Love Island pals as not only have they been doing double dates with fellow Islander Lucinda Strafford, he’s also got a secret ‘bromance’ with two Love Island 2024 boys.
During our exclusive chat with Liberty and Josh, she said, ‘You’ve made friends with Sam [Taylor] and Ciaran [Davies] from this series. They had a proper bromance going on the other day.’
Josh added, ‘I have. I love Sam and Ciaran.’
In fact, Josh has hit it off with the boys so well that they’ve even discussed getting inked together.
‘Me and Sam nearly got matching tattoos at the last White Fox event,’ Josh explained.
‘They had a list of tattoos at the White Fox event, because they had a tattooist there. Lib was like, “Are you actually going to get a tattoo?” and I was like, “Yeah!” Me and Sam got friends and Sam was going to get this thing.
‘I was like, “I’m going to get a matching one in the same place,” and we ended up getting this proper bromance going on.”
Liberty and Josh started dating earlier this year, although they’ve known each other since before she rose to fame.
Speaking about Josh on the Secure the Insecure podcast back in June, Liberty explained, ‘I've known Josh since I was, like, 19. So, even before I went on the show.
‘I literally looked back the other day and he has always been in my Instagram likes and everything since before Love Island and he's always kind of dropped a hint or tried to take me out. I kept pieing him off and was like no, no, no!’
After crossing the line from friends to more, Lib admitted, ‘I don't think I've actually ever been in love or really knew what that was until I met Josh.’ Aww, anyone else feeling all warm and fuzzy?
