It feels like just the other day we were obsessed with Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Curtis Pritchard vs Elma Pazar and Sammy Root's infamous feud in the Love Island villa but it's finally that time again.
And nope we're not talking about series three of All Stars, we are in fact talking about Love Island 2025 - aka the civilian version.
A whole bunch of Islanders have strutted into the series 12 villa hoping to bag brand deals, hundreds of thousands of Instagram followers and maybe even the love of their life - in that order too.
So we've had a deep dive into all things villa - including the cast, bombshells and who's hosting...

Ty Isherwood
Ty Isherwood is a 23-year-old site engineer from Barnsley. He entered the villa as a Casa Amor bombshell and had his eyes on Shakira.
Martin Enitan
Martin Enitan's 23, he's just graduated from uni and he's from South London. Before heading into the villa he was interested in getting to know Shakira and Yasmin.
Jamie Rhodes
Jamie Rhodes is a 26-year-old electrical engineer from Barking and before entering the villa he told producers, 'Yasmin, Shakira and Toni have all caught my eye.'
Chris Middleton
Chris Middleton is a 29-year-old commercial real estate asset manager from Manchester. He's in the villa as a Casa Amor bombshell.
Cach Mercer
Cach Mercer is a 24-year-old professional dancer from East London and before into the villa for Casa Amor, he told producers, '[My game plan is] to try and make everybody fall in love with me.'
Boris Vidovic
Boris Vidovic is a 28-year-old model who lives between Ljubljana and Dubai. Before entering the villa, he told producers, 'I’m super attracted to Shakira, I think she’s got a great personality and seems like a good girl. I’m sure we’d get along well and have a good time together, but I need to see in person, it’s all about energy.'
Yaz Broom
Yazmin Broom is 26, a DJ and lives in Manchester. Before heading into the Casa Amor villa, she admitted, 'I have my eye on three boys: Harrison, Tommy and Conor. They all seem like they treat women really well, and they have nice personalities and nice bodies.'
Rheo Parnell
Rheo Parnell is a 26-year-old ring girl from Nuneaton. Before heading into the Casa Amor villa, she admitted, 'I don’t really have a game plan and I’ve never really had to play games to get someone I’ve liked before. I’ve definitely got my eyes on Harrison. I’m locked and loaded on him, target secured.'
Lucy Quinn
Lucy Quinn was rumoured to enter the villa before the series even started and her day finally arrived during Casa Amor. Opening up about her type, she admitted, 'I have my eye on one boy, Tommy. I think he’s just a lovely lad and he’s got good morals. I’ve been watching at home with my mum and dad. My dad said ‘I think you should pick him.’ So I want to listen to my dad on that one.'
Lauren Wood
Lauren Wood's a 26-year-old dog walker for York and her Casa Amor game plan is 'to win Harrison over.' She went on to say, 'He is so my type. There are a couple of guys that take my fancy, but Harrison is the one I’m going in for.'
Emma Munro
Emma Munro is a 30-year-old hydrogeologist from Norwich and she's also Harry's ex-girlfriend. Opening up about the OG Islander before walking into Casa, Emma said, 'Harry and I had been together for four years but unfortunately we broke up because he was misbehaving.'
Andrada Pop
Andrada Pop is a 27-year-old personal trainer from Dublin and before heading into the villa admitted she has her eye on three of the boys.
'I have my eye on Tommy and I like that he’s very mature in communicating. He’s also very easy to look at, he’s very handsome. My number two is Dejon, he intrigues me, because he’s naughty and I have a naughty side. I also like Harrison, he’s very cute and very good to look at, he’s very chatty and a bit bold,' she told producers.
Ryan Bannister
Poor Ryan Bannister. The 27-year-old Islander from Chesterfield who works as a post office retail support, only had 24 hours to win over one of the girls but he failed. He was sent packing shortly after.
Billykiss Azeez
Billykiss Azeez is a 28-year-old content creator from Dublin. She entered the villa as a bombshell and only had 24 hours to win over one of the boys but she managed to turn Conor's head. Revealing her secret skills to producers, Billykiss said 'I can speak Mandarin! While studying, I lived in three different countries.'
Will Means
Justice for Will Means, tbh. He was only at the VIP Sleepover for 24 hours before he was dumped after failing to recouple.
Poppy Harrison
Poppy Harrison entered the villa as a 22-year-old dental nurse. During the VIP Sleepover she flirted with Remell but failed to win him over and after he chose to reunite with Alima, Poppy was dumped.
Caprice Alexandra
Caprice Alexandra is a 26-year-old nursery owner who went into the villa during the VIP Sleepover and flirted with Dejon, however he decided to stay loyal to Meg and Caprice was dumped.
Giorgio Russo
Gio Russo - a 30-year-old account manager with a VERY famous sister - arrived in the villa during the VIP Sleepover and coupled up with Helena.
Harrison Solomon
Harrison Solomon is a 22-year-old US college soccer player and a student. He's from Derby but lives in Florida and before entering the villa he told producers, 'I do really like American girls. Their personality is slightly different, in general they’re more confident and go for what they want. But I like a challenge, I like a bit of the chase.'
Malisha Jordan
Malisha Jordan is a 24-year-old teaching assistant from Broxbourne. During her short but sweet stint she managed to partially turn Dejon's head but he remained loyal to Meg which meant Malisha was sent packing.
Yasmin Pettet
Yasmin Pettet is a 24-year-old commercial banking executive from London. She arrived in the villa as a bombshell and managed to ruffle a few feathers within her first few minutes.
Emily Moran
Emily Moran is also 24 but she's an insurance development executive from Aberdare. Before entering the villa. she told producers, 'I wouldn’t go after someone who wasn’t giving me the vibe back, I wouldn’t choose someone who didn’t fancy me. You can always feel if there’s a vibe. I wouldn’t want someone who doesn’t want me, or was giving someone else the time of day or lying to me. I want to be open and honest.'
Shea Mannings
Shea Mannings is a 25-year-old scaffolder from Bristol and described his ideal lady.
'She needs to be bubbly and we need to have that initial spark. She needs to have a nice personality - like I think I have - so that we match together,' he told producers.
'Also, I have a little boy, so I’ll be taking him into consideration with who I couple up with, too.'
Remell Mullins
Essex lad Remell Mullins is a 24-year-old a self improvement content creator and he was looking for, 'A bubbly, confident, ambitious and fun girl.
'One feature that stands out to me is a nice smile, nice teeth and someone that can keep me on my toes.'
Toni Laites
Toni Laites has made Love Island UK history by being the first ever American contestant to enter the villa. She's 24, a pool cabana server in Las Vega and is from Connecticut in New England.
Sophie Lee
The first Love Island star confirmed for series 12 was author, influencer, public speaker Sophie Lee who already has 94k Instagram followers. Not only is she 29 and from Manchester but she previously dated Love Island 2023's Ouzy See.
Meg Moore
Meg Moore has swapped her job as a payroll specialist for the villa this year. The 25-year-old Islander is from Southampton and has revealed exactly what she's looking for, 'I’d like to meet someone who is tall, with a nice tan, nice eyes and a nice smile.
'He needs to have a good fashion sense and a really good, funny personality that I can get on with.'
Dejon Noel-Williams
Dejon Noel-Williams is an OG boy on series 12 of Love Island and the 26-year-old personal trainer has already revealed his claim to fame.
'My dad being an ex-professional footballer. I’ve met all kinds of famous people through him,' he told producers.
'When I was younger it was weird because he was just my dad, but we’d go to a game and fans were asking for photos. I’ve met David Beckham, he was really nice.'
Tommy Bradley
Tommy Bradley's only 22 but the landscape gardener from Hertfordshire already knows what he's looking for.
'A girl who is very ambitious, with a big personality, caring, but also someone that doesn’t take themselves too seriously,' he told producers.
'I don’t know if that’s asking for too much, but I want a bit of everything. I haven’t got a specific type in terms of looks, though.'
Alima Gagigo
We had a Scottish babe in the villa. Alima Gagigo is 23 from Glasgow and her day job is a wealth management client services executive. It sounds like Alima loves a flirt as she's admitted, 'I always ask guys on a night out to guess which country I’m originally from. If they get it right, they can get my number. But they never guess correctly so it works really well if you don’t want to give a guy your number.
'I’m originally from Guinea Bissau. If they’re close and I really fancy them, I’ll give them my number anyway.'
Ben Holbrough
Ben Holbrough's also part of the OG line-up and the 23-year-old private hire taxi driver from Gloucester has revealed exactly who he's looking for.
'Someone sexy, good looking, good chat, good vibes, nice teeth and good eye contact - they’re all the traits I look for.
'Oh, and also a cute smile, I just look at you and know I can be around you all day, every day,' he told producers.
Helena Ford
Helena Ford's a 29-year-old cabin crew from London and she's looking for love in the villa. Despite being from down south, she's looking for a man outside her area.
'[I'd like to couple up with] somebody funny or Northern. I feel like Northern people have much more banter than Southerners.
'If you look through my previous dating history, you’ll see I clearly go for personality. You can pretty much laugh me into bed,' she joked.
Megan Forte Clarke
Megan Forte Clarke's a 24-year-old musical theatre performer and energy broker from Dublin but she currently lives in Brighton. And it turns out she has a claim to fame, 'Me and my friends made a Derry Girls TikTok for Halloween and it went a bit viral around Brighton.
'Sometimes I get stopped in the street about it. I’ve also done Panto.'
Blu Chegini
Blu Chegini's part of the OG line-up and he's 26, a construction project manger and he's from London.
Speaking about his flirting skills, he admitted, 'I’ve got the charm to smooth things over with a girl.
'The fact I speak fluent Spanish comes in handy when it comes to flirting!'
Shakira Khan
Another OG star is beauty Shakira Khan who already has 4k Instagram followers. She's 22, works in marketing and lives in Burnley. She's also revealed her type on paper, 'Someone who is tall, charming, witty, with big arms, a good smile and just really funny.'
Harry Cooksley
Harry Cooksley's another OG Islander and he's a 30-year-old gold trader, model and semi-professional footballer. He's from Guildford and has already spilled the tea on his claim to fame, 'I’m the body double for Declan Rice.
'So when he does a shoot, any body close ups will actually be me. You’ll never see my face, but you’ll see my shoulder or chest, that kind of thing.'
Conor Phillips
Following Kyle Ashman's dismissal, Conor Phillips joined the OG line-up. He's a 25-year-old professional rugby player from Limerick and he's already hinted at what we'll see him do at the talent contest.
'Singing [is my unusual skill]. My go to is Mario’s ‘Let Me Love You’. I’ve sang in front of a lot of people before,' he told producers.
'If it’s your first rugby match you have to get on the bus and sing - they loved it!'
Who was axed from Love Island 2025?
Kyle Ashman
Kyle Ashman's a 23-year-old water operative from Stafford who was looking for someone that's 'fun, confident and just themselves.' Unfortunately he won't be finding anyone in the villa as he was axed from the show before he even walked into the villa.
Who's rumoured for Love Island 2025?
As well as the confirmed Islanders, there's still rumours surrounding some bombshells...
According to reports six foot five inches FITLORD Aaron Buckett is heading into the villa.
Aesthetics clinic owner Rose Selway has been rumoured for Love Island 2025 but considering bosses haven't confirmed anything, we reckon she could be a bombshell.
Love Island bosses have also reportedly been in talks with transgender recruitment adviser Michelle Roscoe who already has 23k followers on Instagram.
A source told The Sun, 'Love Island are always looking to evolve and move with the times when it comes to their contestants. They have met with Michelle and spoken to her about whether Love Island would be the right show for her.
'She is absolutely gorgeous and an advocate for the trans community so she’d be an incredibly interesting contestant.'
When did Love Island 2025 start?
After lots of speculation, Love Island bosses confirmed that series 12 would air on Monday 9 June.
Who is hosting Love Island 2025?
The one, the only - Maya Jama of course.
Before All Stars series two aired, there were rumours that Maya had quit the show but she shut them down ASAP and said on her Instagram Story, 'I will be presenting Love Island next year and have no plans to leave right now.
'I filmed promo a couple of days ago actually. Fake news is fake news-ing as usual.'
Phew.
Maya's also teased the newest series will have 'more drama, more bombshells and more twists than ever', so get excited.
And while Maya will pop into the villa for dumpings and host Aftersun, Iain Stirling will continue to make us LOL while narrating the show.
Who was on Love Island 2024?
Who wasn't?
Joey bloomin Essex was the first bombshell of the series and let's just say, that pretty much set the tone for the rest of the show.
Sam Taylor was brutally dumped after 48 hours, producers introduced the sleepover villa where Joey and Grace Jackson wasted no time snogging in the pool and Diamante Laiva came to blows with Matilda Draper at that dramatic Casa Amor recoupling.
Oh, and there was the infamous 'secret mission', Uma Jammeh quit the villa for Wil Anderson and Mimii Tafara and Josh Oyinsan became the first Black couple to win the show.
